This is sus: Blaming @EdKrassen ? I’ve worked on websites for a long time. Website owners have advertisers on sites and that doesn’t mean you know every ad that is in front of your website’s audience. Receiving ad revenue isn’t a Ponzi scheme either. That’s like being blamed for what your neighbor lets their kids watch. People are dumb and click on ads that get them into trouble ALL the freaking time!!

7/ But before politics, their real income came from HYIPs — high-yield investment programs. These were Ponzi schemes promising big returns and leaving thousands of victims behind. They weren’t small-time players. They were literally working with the Russian mob to "scam people."

Why must they go back? They are HUMANS not ping pong balls. Leaders aren’t supposed to treat refugees this way.
Now that Trump has lifted all sanctions on Syria, there is officially no reason for the 1 million Sunni Muslim Syrian refugees to remain in Europe. It’s time to go back.

The manipulation and lies that are spun to create a narrative seem to have no limits. This was so obvious. Not a spoon and not a coke bag. People have to work together to stop misinformation and get the real story.
For the love of God. This is not coke and that is not a coke spoon. Jesus.

The 5.1% figure exaggerates the pre-deal tariff burden on U.S. goods. Data trick used: The maximum rate allowed instead of the actual rate. Why: The Trump post creates the impression that the UK was imposing significant barriers to U.S. exports, which the new deal heroically reduced to 1.8%. Reality: The actual weighted average tariff was closer to 0.5%–1%, meaning most U.S. goods faced very low tariffs from the start. A community note should be added to reflect this.

On May 8, 2025, X’s Global Government Affairs team (@GlobalAffairs) reported that the Indian government issued executive orders to block over 8,000 accounts, citing potential penalties like significant fines and imprisonment of X’s local employees. X complied reluctantly, labeling the orders as “censorship” and criticizing the lack of transparency or evidence. - Affected Accounts: The blocked accounts include: - Pakistani Accounts: Prominent journalists (e.g., Hamid Mir, Najam Sethi), politicians (e.g., Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari), media outlets (e.g., Dawn, GeoNews), and celebrities (e.g., Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir). - Indian Accounts: News portals (e.g., The Wire, Maktoob Media), Kashmiri journalists (e.g., Anuradha Bhasin), and outlets like The Kashmiriyat and Free Press Kashmir. - International Accounts: Global media outlets and prominent X users, though specific names were not disclosed. - Other Platforms: The crackdown extends to YouTube (e.g., 4PM News, Pakistani news channels), Instagram (e.g., a prominent Muslim news page), and cultural content like Pakistani films and music.

There is a censorship concern here, but on the other hand India and Pakistan should de-escalate tensions to avoid war. The reasons given for this action was to avoid further conflict caused by -religious rhetoric - misinformation

Silencing marginalized voices is not the answer. Can this be resolved with a less invasive action?

This seems inconsistent. If the focus was on deportations why is it also on bringing refugees in? A more universal approach that’s consistent would be key. We are protecting those in need of safe haven. That should apply to everyone.
