The 2026 midterms are here, and the ladies of Playboy want to see you at the polls. Presidential races get most of the attention, yet the state and local contests on your ballot will shape your daily life far more directly. We'd rather let our archive do the convincing.

Erin Brockovich is back—and this time, she feels like she's in round two of the fight of her life. The woman who became famous for winning what was then the single largest direct-action settlement in U.S. history (and helping to win Julia Roberts an Oscar) is now taking on hyperscale AI data centers. "I feel like I've really come full circle here in my life," she says. "I wasn't looking for Hinkley. It found me." The same is true for her battle with AI: concerned citizens from rural communities have contacted Ms. Brockovich in droves, asking for help, and she's decided to answer the call.
