The Port of Los Angeles and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) PELINDO have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore partnership opportunities and exchange knowledge between America’s Port® and the Indonesian ports.

The @PortofLA and @CaltransDist7 have officially opened the SR 47 off-ramp at Harbor Blvd. in San Pedro, as part of the SR 47 Interchange Project, the $139 million transportation project celebrated at yesterday’s ribbon-cutting event.

Only the on/off ramps that directly connect to the VT Bridge will be inaccessible during the 16-month project. When connecting to I-110, both the SR 47 off-ramp at Harbor Blvd. and I-110 on-ramp at Front Street/Harbor Blvd. will remain open to traffic through 2028 and beyond.

Great to welcome some of my colleagues to America’s Port, @PortofLA, in my district. We heard from key stakeholders how Trump’s tariff taxes are hurting businesses, workers, and Americans across the country. @HouseDemocrats will work to overturn Trump’s tariffs that Republicans rubber-stamped. Americans shouldn’t be stuck with the bill for Trump’s failed economic policies. Consumers should also receive refunds.

@CaltransDist7 has announced a 16-month closure of the Vincent Thomas Bridge (State Route 47) in San Pedro will begin on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 12:01 a.m. for the replacement of the bridge deck.
