The Wichita State University Regine Feilmeier Tennis Complex is a transformational investment for Wichita State and our community. As the largest single gift in the history of Shocker Athletics, this complex will provide a first-class home for our men's & women's tennis programs.

On the latest episode of Forward Together, I talk with Dr. Jamarco Clark, Wichita State's vice president for Student Affairs, about leadership and his vision for creating a student experience that helps every Shocker thrive. Listen now: Wichita.edu/FTpodcast
Two people are seated at a small round table in a studio setting decorated with Wichita State University banners and colors. Each person has a microphone, indicating they might be recording a podcast or an interview. One is wearing a blue jacket and khaki pants, while the other is in a dark suit with a yellow shirt. There's a bookshelf and wall decorations in the background.

A new patch and familiar source of pride to elevate the Shocker legacy: This season, WSU's National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) will appear on Shocker uniforms across WSU Athletics, celebrating decades of advancing aerospace, empowering students and driving progress.
The image shows the Wichita State University mascot, a stylized yellow character with spiky hair and clenched fists, alongside the NIAR logo. Several Wichita State University patches surround the central design.

Today is National PA Day, a day that's near to my heart. Before I came to higher ed, I was a PA. I had the chance to celebrate with the WSU students in recognition of this important milestone. Another great day for Shocker Nation!
A group of people, some wearing white coats, are gathered in a room with a large Wichita State University mascot mural on the wall. There are approximately 50 individuals posing together, smiling at the camera.

Today I had the opportunity to drop in on a Public Health Sciences strategy meeting to recognize the latest Rick Rewards recipients. The department continues to grow and create opportunities for students while supporting research and community health initiatives. #ShockersUp

Each year, we pause to remember the members of our Wichita State family affected by the tragedy of Oct. 2, 1970. We honor their memory, reflect on their legacy and carry their spirit forward. We will never forget.

Kansas' motto — “ad astra per aspera” (translation: "to the stars through difficulties") — felt especially fitting as I welcomed attendees to @NASA's Innovative Advanced Concepts Symposium at WSU. The future of discovery starts with a willingness to explore what's possible.
