Project Sphere

GENESIS: THE AGE OF STORED LIGHT The Sun puts out about 380 septillion watts. Earth catches less than a billionth of it, and all of humanity runs on roughly 20 terawatts. The rest pours off into empty space. In 1964, astronomer Kardashev proposed measuring a civilization by a single number: how much energy it can harness. Type I commands its planet. Type II commands its star. Genesis is the first step toward Type II. Around the first star, the sphere is rising. Each cell is a collector, drawing raw power from the star and banking it. Every second, the reserve grows. Even when a sphere seals and the epoch moves to a new star, the old cells keep harvesting the star they enclose. Genesis is the reserve. Everything after draws from it. The archives speak of what comes next: worlds that won't wake without power. Routes between stars that open only for those who can pay the toll in energy. And something out past the last sphere that has been waiting a very long time for someone to arrive with enough power to answer it. No one knows yet how much it will take. Those who stored energy during Genesis will be the first to find out.

The first star is already waiting. $SPHERE arrives on Solana on November 3. Until then, there is no official token.

The Seed Stage goes live next week. Buy $SPHERE. Build cells. Accumulate energy. Genesis Crew entries are still open: projectsphere.xyz/

Before expansion comes accumulation. Build the sphere. Store the energy. Carry it into what comes next. Project Sphere begins soon.

The Genesis Epoch begins soon. Are you onboard? At Project Sphere, you explore civilizational acceleration as a playable experiment. Genesis is only the prologue to an endless frontier of expansion and exploration.

Own your cells. Harvest their energy. Early entries are being recorded: projectsphere.xyz

One star was only the beginning. The Kardashev scale ranks civilizations by the energy they can use. Type I: planetary Type II: stellar Type III: galactic Project Sphere follows that path from system to system. Each new star becomes another Dyson sphere, built cell by cell.

We’re excited to partner with @rarelistio We’ve set a dedicated prize pool for the Rarelist community. Looking forward to seeing what you create. More lore to come.

Something is coming...

Me and the boyz speedrunning our way to Kardashev II. Let's build the Sphere, cell by cell.

Do you feel it? A game about human space expansion is coming.

Kardashev II is an energy classification. At stellar-scale compute, the harder question becomes agency: who directs the intelligence powered by that energy?

The Dyson sphere began as a scientific idea. It was imagined as a swarm of collectors orbiting a star. A blueprint for civilizational acceleration.

Think bigger. The Kardashev scale measures civilization by the amount of energy it can control. Type II means operating on the scale of an entire star. A Dyson sphere is how that acceleration takes shape. Ready to explore the Sphere?
