Savannah’s first backpacking trip with daddy was a success! She carried a 10 pound pack and hiked 2 miles in and 2 miles out! She sang her favorite songs, pointed out colorful leaves and bugs, and ate her favorite snacks on the way to the camp site. She never ceases to amaze me!

As an instructional leader, I don't look for people who are loyal to me. I look for people who are loyal to the work of teaching and supporting all students. In my experience, we typically find "our people" because people look for others with similar aspirations.

This morning a concerned resident approached the 4D Olney Substation about a mother duck acting strangely near the CVS. It turns out her babies fell down a storm drain. MCFRS was able to lift the storm drain cover and MCPD Officer H. Chen reached down and saved 8 babies. #mcpnews
