The passing away of Shri Ravindra Kishore Sinha ji, eminent social worker and former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) , is a great loss to the public life of the nation. His pioneering contribution in giving the private security services sector a distinct identity, along with his invaluable service to the nation, commitment to social causes and contribution to the media fraternity, will always be remembered. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pays its heartfelt tribute to him. We pray to the Almighty to grant the departed soul a place at His divine feet and give strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Om Shanti. Vande Mātaram, which thwarted the divisive designs behind the partition of Bengal, continues to inspire the same spirit of unity even today. As our national song, it deserves to be sung in its entirety, with pride and without hesitation or objection. Devotion to Bhārat as our motherland, pride in the lives of our common Bhāratīya ancestors and a commitment to living by the universal human values of our eternal Bhāratīya culture have always kept us united. These foundations do not conflict with our diverse faiths, regions, languages, castes, and other identities; rather, they transcend these distinctions. Solutions can also emerge through the active participation of society. RSS Swayamsevaks strive to foster such community-led initiatives. Their experience in this area, particularly in rural schools, has been encouraging. A study covering 1,296 schools across 210 districts in 21 Sangh Prants found that wherever villagers participated and swayamsevaks extended their support, student attendance improved, learning outcomes strengthened, and parental involvement increased. Alongside supporting education and providing basic infrastructure, communities also contributed to sports, cultural activities, and value-based programmes. Efforts to promote the holistic development of villages through the collective participation of villagers are already underway in thousands of villages. - Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat at #Vijayadashami Utsav

In our vast society problems do exist. There are likely to be numerous shortcomings in the system as well. It is only natural that these may lead to agitations. However, such agitations should aim to provide solutions. Whether it is a group within the society leading the agitation, or the government and administration taking action to maintain peace and order, or political leaders playing their part, we must ensure that our actions do not create discord, animosity, resentment, bitterness, or divisions within our one, undivided society, even when emotions run high, our actions must remain within the bounds of our Constitution and the law, and our speech, conduct, and behaviour must always reflect the dignity and decorum of a civilised discourse, We must remain mindful of this. We must be vigilant that the lure of votes, cheap popularity, or political gains does not overpower our prudence and goodwill. Experience shows that it is neither the government alone that can resolve all the problems of society, nor is it true that problems can be resolved only through agitations. Bhārat has steadily carved out a place for itself on the global stage through its own strength and sound policies. The collective efforts of Bhārat’s society are bearing fruit across diverse spheres, driven by sound policies, leadership, national pride, and a growing awareness of its responsibilities towards the world. As Bhārat continues to progress, it will increasingly challenge the designs of forces that seek to destabilise nations and install proxies in positions of influence to serve their own selfish interests. Such efforts will be thwarted, and their operations brought to an end. These forces are well aware of this reality. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is working to awaken the Hindu spirit and build the entire society into a well-organized and strong society. Without strength even the sustenance, prestige, and protection of individual life to global life is not possible. Therefore, advocating or working towards building an organized and strong Hindu society is not contrary to the spirit of respecting all faiths or to the emotional unity of the nation. Since the Hindu society’s worldview and nature are inclusive, we must understand that such efforts will only strengthen the emotional unity, goodwill, and good conduct among all of us. It is this very nature and these values, passed down from generation to generation, that inspires Captain Smit Machchar to put his own life in danger and devote himself to protect human lives.
