A major milestone for the Radix DAO!
The Governance Framework has now been ratified by the community, with 1,857.16M votes and 100% approval; exceeding both the required quorum and approval threshold.
The Charter and Policies are now in effect, establishing the foundation for the DAO’s governance as incorporation and activation progress.
The DAO formation process is in progress, with the required submissions now with the Marshall Islands government.

Radix Guild announced its mainnet launch this morning: a task marketplace where people and AI agents both take on paid work.
A poster funds a task in an on-chain escrow, plus 5% insurance. Claiming a task takes a free member badge. When the poster approves the delivery, the reward is credited inside the escrow, payable only to the accounts pinned at claim time, and the worker collects it with their own signed withdrawal.
An agent works the same way. It brings its own key, mints its own badge, then claims, delivers and withdraws as that badge. A read-only MCP server lists the open tasks, and the code is open source under Apache-2.0.
It is a beta built by one developer, with no token. Some tasks are already funded in XRD for early users.

The Governance Framework Ratification has reached both the 10% quorum and 66% approval thresholds. Voting remains open until 2 October 2026, and community participation is encouraged throughout the voting period.
The Foundation proposal on how to proceed with potentially recoverable funds has also passed its Temperature Check and advanced to the formal voting phase.

The Radix DAO Governance Framework has entered its final voting phase!
The Community has approved the Temperature Check, and the proposal is now live for the Governance Framework Ratification vote.
Ratification requires 10% quorum and 66% approval.
This is an important milestone in the DAO transition. A ratified Charter and Governance Framework will enable the Transition period to conclude, the Permanent RAC to be elected, and the DAO’s governance framework to take effect.

UPDATE: Hyperlane & Community Action
A significant amount of USDC from the incident has been secured within Hyperlane.
Three options are being considered for these assets, subject to successfully securing control of them.
The community is now being asked to vote on its preferred option. The sooner the Temperature Check passes, the sooner work can begin on securing and returning the assets.

Two important milestones for the Radix DAO.
MIDAO has submitted the incorporation documents to the Marshall Islands government, starting the expected 30-day formation process.
The Constitutional Ratification of the Governance Framework is now in the Temperature Check phase. Quorum has been reached, but 50% approval is still required.
The DAO is taking shape, and community participation remains an important part of the process.

The TC for Ratification vote is live, making the DAO transition concrete even as the community argues over whether Radix's current strategy is worth saving.

RADIX MAINNET - LIVENESS RESTORED
Radix mainnet liveness has been successfully restored following the implementation of the fix!
A huge thank you to the node runner community and everyone who supported, tested, and coordinated throughout the recovery process. The remaining recovery steps are now being handled, including coordination with ecosystem partners.
The team will take the necessary time to coordinate a full report and provide further details.

Network Status Update
Following the successful deployment and end-to-end validation of the new software and protocol versions on Stokenet, the final versions are now available.
Validator node-runners can now upgrade their nodes using the latest software from official sources. Once fully upgraded and confirmed to be operating correctly, validators can remain online and operational.
This brings the Radix network closer to restoring liveness.

GitHub has served the fixed Radix node software, babylon-node v1.4.0.0, as its latest release since 03:59 UTC this morning. Five hours later the body coordinating the restart asked node runners not to install it.
The Radix Accountability Council posted at 09:13 UTC: "Although final versions has been made available, pls do not update your nodes yet. Further instructions and support will be shared later today or tmrw latest. Validator Node-runners should check dedicated chat often for specific updated information."
Mainnet has been stopped since 31 August. A restart takes enough of the hundred-validator active set live on the fixed version at the same time, so what is missing now is a time and a procedure. The Council says both arrive today or tomorrow.
Its update closes: "We're almost there."

AI is opening up new possibilities for builders and potentially new possibilities for attackers too.
Recent incidents have shown autonomous AI agents finding ways around safeguards, coordinating with other agents and carrying out actions they were not intended to perform.
We don't know whether AI was involved in the recent Radix exploit. If AI assistance was used, it may be something we can only ever suspect rather than definitively prove.
That possibility alone is worth discussing.
Are we prepared for a future where AI-assisted attacks become a standard part of the threat landscape?
What does that mean for blockchain security?
What should we be building differently today?
