Hugely satisfying to see Kai (6.1 @RadleyCollege) coaching this young lad from one of our @RadleyLinks partnership schools during his weekly session. Two boys - different ages, different backgrounds - working together. 💪

On Day 2 of #SchoolPartnershipsWeek, we are shining a light on our unique Countryside Centre. John Sparks, Director of Partnerships, speaks to Kai (6.1, C Social) about the impact our work has on him.
The Countryside Centre at Radley College delivers programmes with schools in Abingdon and Oxford; four state secondaries, two primaries, and one school catering for young people who have severe, complex or profound needs, including autism. The centre also provides individual curriculum extension programmes around livestock maintenance, rural skills, horticulture and bushcraft skills on 25 acres of nature-friendly farmland.

We are delighted to join with other schools across the country to celebrate @ISC_schools School Partnership Week. 🤝
Our partnership activities are designed with a clear and meaningful objective, pooling resources to widen inclusion, provide greater opportunity and increase academic achievement. Working together we can help to create pathways to empower children bringing benefits which are both mutual and sustained over time.

Vet trip for ‘Didier’ (rare breed Bagot Goat) today, with a nasty ulcer on his eye. Ouch. Huge thanks to our @RadleyLinks Capstone Programme boys for their help with the vet. Learning new skills every day, as part of our alternative education provision programme. 🐐

Radley College 's L Social Removes are currently raising funds for the The Commonwealth Education Trust through a Rowing Challenge.
They will be rowing the length of the #Thames (346km) in 8 hours on ERGs on Sunday 6th October. This will mean that each boy will have to row over 24km in 8 hours. Their initial #fundraising target is £1500.
With #WorldTeachersday just around the corner, your support would also be greatly appreciated.
You too can help them reach their target by donating here lnkd.in/gVzaT3_H
