📖 One insight from a recent Supply Chain Management Review article stood out to us. 👉 Don't automate a broken process. Standardise it first 👈 Drawing on lessons from Amazon's robotics journey, the article highlights four practical takeaways: ✅ Standardise processes before introducing automation. ✅ Improve information flow before investing in new equipment. ✅ Start by automating narrow, repeatable tasks. ✅ Treat orchestration as a priority, not an afterthought. It's a useful reminder that successful automation isn't just about deploying robots. It's about building the right operational foundations first. 🔥 Heatmaps don't just show where your forklifts have been. They reveal where your operation is losing time: • Congestion 🚫 • Unnecessary travel ⛕ • Idle assets 💤 • Repeated bottlenecks 🍼 Sometimes the biggest productivity gains are hiding in plain sight. #WarehouseOperations #SpatialIntelligence #RTLS #ContinuousImprovement

🚜 Before buying more forklifts, ask one question. Is your existing fleet operating at its full potential? 🤔 Hidden capacity often disappears through: 🚥 Congestion 🫙 Empty travel 🧭 Waiting 👀 Searching Understanding where that time is lost is often the first step towards improving productivity. Better decisions start with better visibility. #WarehouseOperations #FleetManagement #RTLS #SpatialIntelligence

🎥 Missed the live webinar? Watch it on demand. Before adding more forklifts or investing in automation, ask a more useful question: What is your forklift fleet actually doing today? In this 45-minute webinar, Roland Avar of @SlamcoreLtd and Stefan Biermeier of KINEXON show how movement data can reveal what happens between a transport order being created and completed, and where time and capacity may be getting lost. They explore three steps from visibility to execution: 1. 👀 TRACK THE FLEET - Identify waiting, empty travel, search time and stalled handovers 2. 📋 GUIDE THE WORK - Give the right next task to the best-placed forklift and operator 3. 🔄 ORCHESTRATE THE OPERATION - Coordinate manual forklifts, AMRs and AGVs as a hybrid fleet If you work in warehouse operations, continuous improvement, automation or fleet performance, watch the session to see how tracking, guidance and orchestration can support a more reliable material flow. 🎥 Watch on demand: hubs.ly/Q04zKb7G0 #RTLS #WarehouseAutomation #Intralogistics #FleetManagement #MaterialHandling

📖 One insight from a recent TechRadar article really resonated with us. 👉 AI is only as reliable as the data it's built on 👈 The article suggests that as manufacturing and other industries adopt more autonomous, AI-driven systems, precision measurement is becoming a strategic necessity rather than just an engineering support function. It warns that without trustworthy, accurate data, AI can amplify errors at scale rather than improve outcomes. We see this extending to warehouse operations, where systems also depend on precise, real-time data to make reliable decisions. It's a timely reminder that before organisations can unlock the full value of AI, they need confidence in the data describing the physical world. 📖 AI is only as good as the data behind it. A recent article highlights a simple truth: AI delivers the greatest value when it's built on reliable operational data and applied to real warehouse challenges—not used for its own sake. That's why visibility matters. Before AI can optimise an operation, it first needs to understand what's happening on the warehouse floor. 🚜 Manual fleets deserve the same visibility as 🤖 autonomous ones. Many facilities know exactly where every AMR is. But the forklifts moving most of the material? More often than not, they're often invisible 👻. The future of warehouse operations isn't choosing between manual and autonomous. It's understanding that a mixed fleet is vital for operational excellence. Visibility isn’t a nice to have, it’s a must have. #WarehouseAutomation #RTLS #SpatialIntelligence #MaterialHandling

🌍 One team. Seven countries. One week together. Last week, we brought the entire Slamcore team together in London for a week of in-person collaboration and connection. We packed a lot in, including beach volleyball 🏐🎾, team runs 🏃, LOTS of good food (& donuts 🍩), before taking a break from our usual day-to-day on Thursday for #LondonFunDay. What is London Fun Day, we hear you ask? 👀 A dedicated day to switch off from our usual operations and spend some quality time together. We adventured our way across London on the Race Across the World Experience, took on Sandbox VR (the robot bartender was a highlight), and finished the day with a sit down meal. 🏁🥽🍽️ As a hybrid and internationally distributed team, having everyone together in one place is always special. A brilliant week with an even better team. Here's to the next one 🧡 #TeamWeek #CompanyCulture #LifeAtSlamcore #Collaboration #TeamWork

Last month, we exhibited at Toyota Summer Slam IV, an event focused on collaboration, innovation and smarter ways to tackle industry challenges. It was a great opportunity to connect with Toyota team members across manufacturing, engineering and technology, and to share how Slamcore’s spatial intelligence can support the next generation of autonomous systems. Thanks to the Toyota team for bringing everyone together and creating such an engaging event.

📖 Automation isn't always the first answer. A recent Yale white paper highlights four practical steps before introducing robotics: ✅ Assess whether your operation is a good candidate for automation. ✅ Evaluate your environment, workflows, and the loads being handled. ✅ Define what success looks like before investing. ✅ Work with an experienced partner to identify the right applications. It's a practical reminder that successful automation starts with understanding your operation—not assuming the technology is the answer. 📖 One insight from the latest @MHI Annual Industry Report stood out to us. The challenge is no longer adopting new technology. It's scaling and integrating it. The report argues that competitive advantage won't come from isolated tools, but from connecting AI, automation, and operational data into one coordinated system. We couldn't agree more. Whether it's manual forklifts, AMRs, or enterprise software, the real value comes when every part of the operation is working from the same picture. 👀 Visibility is not the goal. It's the starting point. When you know where your vehicles are, how they're moving, and where operations slow down, better decisions follow naturally: • Better safety. • Better productivity. • Better material flow. The challenge isn't collecting more data. It's collecting the right data. #SpatialIntelligence #RTLS #WarehouseAutomation #Intralogistics

Ask five people in your warehouse "How accurate is our asset tracking?" and you'll likely get five different answers. That's usually not always a technology gap, it can be a definitions gap. "Accurate" can mean anything from "Somewhere in the building" to "Within 10cm." Knowing which one you actually have changes everything about what you can safely automate around it. Slamcore Aware gives cm level accuracy 📏 hubs.ly/Q04qlfG50

🤖 Before AI can make better decisions, it needs better information. That's true whether you're talking about a warehouse, a factory, or a forklift. • Real-time location. • Environmental awareness. • Operational context. Together, they create the spatial intelligence that turns movement into meaningful insight. Because AI is only as good as the data it receives. #PhysicalAI #SpatialIntelligence #VisualAI #RTLS
