zec’s price should reflect perceived future demand for a private SoV
ore’s price should reflect perceived future demand for a defi-native SoV
both depend on how likely the asset is to capture that demand
re privacy and quantum:
ore plugs in directly to solana’s financial system (including privacy apps), without wrapping it or relying on a bridge
quantum resistance comes from solana's upgrades (+ ore already has a quantum safe wallet that will get easier to use
xitter.cf/ORE/status/20687828164…)
other important factors:
fixed supply, fair launch, and equal access to mining give it the right foundation for a globally neutral internet-native asset
has evidence of lindyness: survived a 93% crash and came back stronger
How does ORE's smart wallet protect holders from future quantum threats?
@HardhatChad shares some insights on the recent X Spaces with @martypartymusic discussing ORE's quantum-safe smart wallet.

Buckle up boys
We going to Valhalla
When ORE is 10k usd , make sure you look back and remember today with fondness and not regret
Get in the mines
Looking back, $58 was an exceptional buy.
$160 is still phenomenally early if the thesis plays out.
I feel like everything is lining up perfectly. Still a few hurdles to cross and then it’s nothing but tailwinds beyond that.
I would recommend to anyone to mine some uORE. Whatever you can comfortably afford, and then just leave it the hell alone.
$ORE
The first ICOs appeared back in 2013. They immediately became a breakout use case for crypto. But then they spent the next decade+ scamming innocent people, destroying the public's trust, and incinerating billions and billions of dollars. Now, years later, a band of self described "futards" believes they have an answer. A way to harness the power of the ICO and use the internet to coordinate global capital. Stay tuned for what happens next

Really solid product idea. Great early execution. But yet, another rug in a sea of endless rugs.
I think at this point, you have to be mentally challenged to invest in a real technology startup launched through a normal launchpad.
I was hopeful throughout 2024 & 2025, and even parts of 2026. I've tried institutionally supporting launchpad projects every which way w/ sadly similar results (capital, marketing, long-term holding large supplies). A lot of wasted hours that I could've spent elsewhere.
The market itself and onchain participants simply dont care, and these things and every "onchain investor" have the wrong incentive structures all the way down.
Will do a full write-up at some point, but lauchpad tech projects are officially only tradeable and nothing more to me.
Many of you probably already know this, just my own thoughts on paper.
If anyone is going to get it done differently, it's @MetaDAOProject and @metaproph3t and team, and thats about it

The best entrepreneur of the next decade is out there somewhere raising at a sub-$10m valuation and struggling to get it, building in a category investors aren't thinking about.
That's just how it works.

The reason for the return of diplomacy between Europe and Russia is the change in the geopolitical and geoeconomic environment. With oil at over $100, and France on the brink of a debt crisis, Europe is politically and financially not able to maintain its support for Ukraine at the level needed for Ukraine to resist Russia's advance, let alone push back. At no point during the last five years did western European leaders have a strategy to secure Ukraine's victory. Nor did they have a strategy for peace. It is too early to say what yesterday's call between Støre, Stubb and Putin will accomplish, but we are now entering a different phase.

on ore and monetary premiums
Replying to @tulipking @DiggyMonke
agree that establishing a monetary premium is the most important thing. disagree that ore's design prevents it from doing so
the reserve simply preserves some of the revenue that would otherwise go to miners (in the btc/zec model) and repurposes it as buying power during downturns
it doesn't have to be fancy. and done correctly it can make for a better SoV (almost by definition)
re ohm, the differences are meaningfully different. for one, original ohm had no limits to supply expansion. so not a great analogy
ohm does demonstrate that the reserve cant establish or sustain a monetary premium. on this we agree
ore still has to establish lasting monetary demand. but i think the reserve can support this
basically there is no good reason for why using revenue to dampen downside volatility (instead of funding security) should put something outside the category of money -- i think you only get to this conclusion if you anchor too hard on what has worked so far

Not your keys, not your coins.
A Nasdaq-listed company Datavault AI $DVLT just told the SEC it can’t withdraw its 817.6 BTC from an exchange.
After 4 months of trying, its stock is now down ~50%.
If a public company can get locked out of its Bitcoin, so can you.
