The bombshell email that could spell disaster for Boris

I know who sent the email to Martin Reynolds on 20 May 2020 telling him the planned ‘bring your own booze’ party should not go ahead, though the sender tells me he does not want to be seen as agent...

@simonjamesjupp any words for my choir member who’s mother moved into a care home in May 2020 and then died there within weeks without seeing her daughter again? Or my another who was making scrubs for the NHS for free whilst her dressmaking business went to the wall? #ToriesOut

This is less likely to increase Covid transmission than socially distanced, mostly double-vaccinated, heavily risk-assessed choir rehearsals?! Whatever happens next week it's ESSENTIAL this ridiculous disparity is addressed @PHE_uk @OliverDowden @DCMS @abcdtweets @MakingMusic_UK

But it’s only three more weeks till 21st June... That’s not the point. There's no step 5. We're one step behind at step 3. Where does that leave us for step 4? Every signature is key! petition.parliament.uk/petit… #singingmatters @abcdtweets @MakingMusic_UK @ProjGetSinging

Right now, the petition is on 40,500 signatures. That's around one per choir in the UK. Imagine if every one of those 40,500 found two more people to sign, then BANG, we're on 100,000... #singingmatters #ChoirsMatter @ProjGetSinging @abcdtweets @MakingMusic_UK

This beggars belief. How on EARTH can this be happening in a world where more than six people are not allowed to sing indoors together?! #singingmatters #choirsmatter @OliverDowden @DCMS @PHE_uk @abcdtweets @MakingMusic_UK @ProjGetSinging @Voicedoctor_uk @SamEvansLondon

Tonight, while choirs and other music ensembles are not allowed to rehearse indoors, this happened in Milton Keynes, indoors.

Makes our socially distanced, Covid reg, 2-m apart, no mingling, no orchestra, negative test, ventilated concert at @RoyalAlbertHall on Sunday look a bit tame. At least we’ll be in tune (🤞)... @RichardKGCooke
