Great to be in Jefferson County to celebrate the groundbreaking for a new main access facility and gate at Pine Bluff Arsenal. This installation is an important part of Arkansas’s national defense contributions and supports the local economy. It’s taken years of hard work and collaboration with @SenTomCotton, @RepWesterman, and local leaders to get this project authorized and funded.
The new Access Control Point will strengthen security, improve efficiency and help position the Arsenal for future growth. I’ve been proud to champion PBA with our delegation, and this progress is a great start to its next exciting chapter.
Today’s groundbreaking at the Plainview Access Control Point is the result of years of cooperation between Arkansans who agree that investing in Pine Bluff Arsenal is good for our state and our national security.
