The new OnlyFans terms kicked in November 1. Be honest, did you read them or just scroll to the bottom and hit accept?
🚨 OnlyFans emailed every creator to say the terms change November 1. The email left out that one possible violation is now enough to freeze your earnings. It left out a lot. Here's what I did...
I put the new version side by side with the August 2024 version from their site. This is part one because there's too much here for one post.
So it looks like suspensions got easier. In 2024, OF could suspend your account and hold your earnings without notice if they believed you had "seriously or repeatedly" breached the terms. The new version says "have or may have breached." That reads to me like one possible violation is enough. I feel like we've already been seeing this play out, so this looks like OF putting it in writing to cover themselves.
Now, the most common question I'm seeing right now from creators is whether AI chatbots are banned under the new terms.
Neither version of the Terms of Use mentions chatbots. OnlyFans' help center says OF has no public API and creators may not directly integrate AI chatbots into the platform. That rule was already there before this update.
Section 8.g is new to the Terms of Use. It bans any "manual or automatic tool or process designed to collect any data or information" from content, getting around OnlyFans' access controls and using content to "train or enhance" any AI system. I have thoughts on how this reads but I want to know what this sounds like to you and if it changes anything for your business.
Section 13.a now refers to "any third-party that assists with the management of their account."
OnlyFans knows chatters and agencies exist. Section 8.b makes it clear you're still legally responsible for everything they do on your account.
Section 12.e says OnlyFans may offer its own services to creators that process DMs using AI. I read that as OF making room for its own AI tools while tightening the rules on everyone else's.
Other changes to know now...
You may not hear about future changes to OF before they happen. The old terms promised notice "before the changes take effect" so you could delete your account first. The new terms promise "reasonable efforts" to notify you of material changes.
Affiliate links now count as advertising. Any affiliate link you post on OnlyFans needs an ad label plus the brand name and who paid.
Obviously this is my read of the new terms so far, and I'm not a lawyer. I'd love for you guys to read it for yourselves and let me know if you see it the same way.

You don’t have to know HOW.
How doesn’t even matter in the scheme of things. You can hire for “how”.
You just need to know what & why.

comparison in this industry is relentless. What another creator puts in and what it looks like from the outside are rarely the same thing, so be gentle with yourself when you scroll.🫶
Yup and so many surveillance/censorship laws get test run on sex workers. They pick us because they’re betting no one will defend us, and usually they’re right. We've been shouting from the rooftops for years but no one listens. By the time it reaches you its too late.
You cannot have rights without privacy.
Speech. Religion. Assembly. Press. Every one of them requires the ability to act without the state watching. Remove privacy and they still exist on paper. They just stop working.
That is why online child safety laws matter. Age verification forces a digital ID tied to your name. That ID is the foundation of the control grid: AI watching what you say, CBDCs deciding what you can spend, social credit deciding what you can access.
Two lies are used to stop you from fighting it.
Lie one: I have nothing to hide. Privacy is not about hiding. It is about power. The person who sees everything about you controls you.
Lie two: privacy is already dead. It is not. This is why they are passing the online child safety laws (which are not about protecting kids) all over the world at the same time. They want total surveillance.
Privacy is not dead. It is under attack. And people only say it is dead when they want you to stop defending it.

Did you know that on the 6th of November 2026 the UK Government is banning the publication and possession of pornography depicting breath play, age-play, and incest?
The maximum sentence for publication offences is five years imprisonment.
This will affect publishers and consumers globally.
The offences are, in simple terms:
1. Strangulation or suffocation.
(2 years for possession, 5 years for publication)
2. Penetrative sexual activity between people pretending to be related.
(2 years for possession, 5 years for publication)
3. Sexual activity between two people where (a reasonable person would think) at least one person is, or is pretending to be, under sixteen.
(3 years for possession, 5 years for publication)

Sex work isn't glamorous or tragic. It's work. Sex isn’t inherently dangerous.
The danger in sex work comes from stigma and the impacts of criminalization (and the Nordic model), not the work itself.
Sex workers don't need saving.
They need rights.
The idea that you have to be constantly available in DMs to make real money is something worth questioning imo. A content first model can trade per-fan conversion for scale and I have personally seen that some creators are thriving with it.
If that's you, drop advice below for anyone trying to do the same.
