Loved hosting @marstoyship & her Texas McCombs School of Business MBA Nutrition Entrepreneurship Class students at the @shar_snacks kitchen for a Texas Longhorns field trip. #HookEm Her course is designed to enable students to develop and evaluate new ventures and market opportunities that are being rapidly transformed by consumers' growing interest in nutrition. My business partner @PeterRushford talked about where the idea came from (nutrition was front & center here), the journey from idea to product (3 years, 52 iterations, etc.), and the ride we have been on building a brand around an earth-first ethos. #SavethePlanet Given we were at the kitchen, we talked in depth about the operations, ingredients, and logistics of it all as well as how our relentless pursuit of sustainability in all aspects impacts the decision making process for the entire team. Incredibly proud to watch Peter in action sharing all that comes with us trying to build an brand with the cache of @patagonia and @YETICoolers. #SwingBig P.S. Happy BDAY Peter Rushford!!! #founder #founderstories #storytelling #healthysnacks

As a video producer, I need to make sure we always have good craft services on set. Basically food and beverages for the day. Another bonus of owning a snack company is I get to bring @shar_snacks for everyone. My crew was very happy about this snack option. #Founder #FounderStories #HealthySnacks #Producer #ProducerLife

Congrats to New Waterloo & NuovoRE on hosting the Impact Hospitality Retreat. Inspiring seeing these #hospitality brands come together to see how they can help charter a new path in the industry from service, to buildings, to sourcing, to team building working all hand in hand with the communities they reside in. We were delighted that they had our @shar_snacks Zero Waste Snacking Station at the event to showcase how innovative solutions such as ours can help reduce waste and save the planet. Every attendee received a tube and refilled it as often as they like. When they left they got one last refill and took it with them. Because we used a glass jar and compostable refill bags, there was #zerowaste from our snack offering over those 2 days! PLUS, we were honored that the gave my business partner @PeterRushford and opportunity to talk about our mission at Shār and earth-first ethos at the event so we talk about how important it is we collaborate on reducing waste at every turn. Peter always brings the passion! #goRushford Thank you New Waterloo & NuovoRE!!! And shoutout to Delfo Trombetta for making this all possible by connecting us to the South Congress Hotel team years back! #FounderStories #Stories #healthysnacking #Sustainability #PlasticFree
