I pray that Marcellus Williams feels no pain and that he feels no fear. My heart hurts and I can’t say that the system failed him because the system was never created to save people who look like him. A system that perpetuates this is a system that should not exist.
As someone who has been struggling to conceive for years, I feel this is a good moment to remind people that you have no idea why someone doesn't have children. So please be kind, mind your words, and have some empathy.
