Thursday evening is calm with temps mostly in the 70s. Tomorrow is dry and close to 80, with great high school football weather tomorrow night. Saturday is quiet in the morning, then widely spaced showers for the Magic City Classic and trick or treating, but no washout. Rain is more widespread Saturday night into Sunday. Today starts with mostly upper 40s and 50s across the state, then turns partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s, about 10 degrees above average for this time of year. Tomorrow is the same, with no rain and highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Trick or treaters should be able to squeeze in some dry trick or treating Saturday evening before the bulk of the rain gets here. Halloween Saturday will not rain all day and will not rain everywhere, but a few showers are possible, and rain becomes more widespread Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday brings periods of rain and maybe some thunder, with no severe storms expected, and temperatures in the 60s pretty much all day Sunday. It's been another beautiful Fall day for Alabama! Evening temperatures are mostly in the 70s, with very dry air in place and dew points down to 41 in Huntsville. The next couple of days will look a lot like today, with a partly to mostly sunny sky and very pleasant weather. No rain is expected through Friday. It has now been 17 consecutive days with no rain. A few isolated showers are possible Saturday for football and trick or treaters on Halloween. Rain is more likely Sunday.
