WAD’s home-made corrugated cardboard press was all he needed for decent register in printing multiple colors. In the press: marionette ticket, c. 1934. Black was printed letterpress via line cut, colors then added via this stencil press.
Excellent and informative thread on counterforms. A must read for anyone Typo-curious.
