💻 @anduriltech is getting into laptops, and the bigger bet is on rebuilding US computer manufacturing.
The defense technology company is partnering with @Qualcomm on BlueChip, a new line of rugged computers aimed first at government, defense and other security-sensitive buyers.
Its first laptop will use Snapdragon X Series chips, with orders planned for 2027.
Anduril says more than 90% of the prototype’s component procurement cost already comes from US or allied-country suppliers, with a fully domestic supply chain as the longer-term goal.
