PlayStation discount update: the fix is live.
Sony has resolved the store-side issue that was affecting the owner discount for The Wolf Among Us Remastered on PlayStation 5. Here’s what you need to know.
Owners of the original now get 50% off. If you own the original The Wolf Among Us digitally on PS4, you now get 50% off The Wolf Among Us Remastered, with or without PlayStation Plus. That’s more than the 30% we originally announced for players without PS Plus. Physical copies don’t qualify because they can’t be verified.
It shows as a lower price, not a sale. Because of how the PlayStation Store had to apply the fix, you won’t see a crossed-out price or a “50% off” label. You’ll just see the lower price. That is your discount.
Already bought it?
If you own the original and paid more than the 50% price, Sony will add the difference to your PlayStation Store wallet as credit. You’ll get a notification from PlayStation once it’s processed. You don’t need to do anything.
New to The Wolf Among Us?
PlayStation Plus members still get 20% off through [November 12].
A note for Xbox players. Xbox fixed an issue on October 30 that affected players who bought the original between 2014 and 2016, and its engineering team is looking into the remaining reports. If you’re still not seeing your discount on Xbox, please submit a ticket at support.telltale.com and include your Xbox gamer tag. Xbox 360 copies of the original and physical copies don’t qualify.

An update on Playstation pricing and discounts:
The loyalty discount problem on PlayStation 5 is a store-side issue that only Sony can resolve, and they control the timing of the fix. We’ve agreed on a solution with them that makes things right for owners of the original, and we’re waiting for it to go live.
For owners of the original who already bought the game and didn’t receive their discount, we’re also working on a solution and will share more once the details are locked. We’ll share full details as soon as Sony confirms. Thanks for your patience.

SONY: PSN now provides the 50% discount for PS+ OG owners. The 30% off for non-PS+ subscribers is still being investigated.
