Macklemore calls out 9 U.S. arenas for turning down his 'Free Palestine Tour.'
"The intimidation, manipulation and suppression I experienced are part of how those in power keep entertainers quiet. It's their main tactic to keep us in line. But at this point, I'm three years past giving two shits about maintaining any relationships, business or personal, with anyone that isn't riding for a 'Free Palestine.'"
He calls out: Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center, Barclays, UBS Arena, Intuit Dome, Kia Forum, Crypto[.]com Arena, Chase Center, and Climate Pledge Arena.
Macklemore claims 9 US arenas turned down his Free Palestine tour in a new statement.
"Once they found out these were benefit shows for Palestine, these dates were suddenly off the table. The doors were closed. The conversations were all different, but the result was the same. The shows were not going to be allowed to happen in these venues," he wrote.

The folk artist Yuben Grey talks turning his anxiety into art and keeping his creative process simple.
For him, making music always starts with an acoustic melody. “Then it’s like I’m in a flow state and 4 hours later, I have a track,” he told The FADER. “Now I really try to incorporate newer instruments as well. I have an electric guitar, I have a bass, a banjo, and I try to keep it as simple as possible and not do too much.”
