I had the best time at #SAVFF with my pal @ByClaytonDavis and a whole bunch of brilliant SCAD students discussing @DisneyAnimation’s #Hexed 🌙 - tons of great questions - and secrets! Can’t wait for you to see this dazzling film! Try to avoid spoilers!!

And the best part is Mickey will be fully hand-drawn animated.

Love this thread. A lot of people worked very hard to bring these to life. Interesting takes on what they mean……. #hexed

🙌🏾💖 My theories thread for the 7 different locations in Disney animation’s HEXED!!!!!👇🏾 One of my favorite things about the new amazing trailer For HEXED is how many of the world’s locations and architecture are starting to come into focus. #Hexed #DisneyAnimation #disney

Thanks for asking - I’ve seen some hot takes on this - it’s intentional - Alice being a younger mother is a plot point.

It looks like I’m too late to ask a question, but if it’s ok, there’s one thing I’d like to know. Will there be an explanation in Hexed as to why Alice looks pretty young for her age?

It’s nice to see the director of Hexed support Wildwood as well. Know it’s not a big competition

You read right - the hand drawn opening was done by the incredible Tyler Pacana. And we have additional hand drawn anim mapped onto 3d elements as well as a couple scenes on 1s, 2s, and 4s concurrently. Looks incredible. The Stitch short that plays in front of #Hexed is a combo of hand drawn, CG and water color. We are trying many new things on this film. And even more things on our films in the future…

I real there will be a traditional-2D animated scene, I'm very VERY excited for that! Is there going to be new movies in that format for the future? I know the market is hard, but many of the children ( us Disney fans HAHAHA ) yearn for those 🥹
