The new era of State of Louisville is here!
For six years @PinkSeatsPod and @startingfive02 have been the consistent force behind our growth. We’ve worked hard to find the right mix of hosts, formats, etc. and with them being exactly where we want it’s time to go all in.
Moving to @The1912Society allows us to make the main thing the main thing, elevating the product and viewer experience along the way! You’ll still get the same voices you’ve come to know, just in a new home.
At the time same, we’ll be officially closing down the website this fall. For six years, written content has been a big part of what we do and the community we’ve built. In the changing landscape of media and content consumption, it’s time to adapt and move forward in a new direction.
@presmeyer & myself (@JacobLane08) will still be around in different capacities, but the accounts will be far less active.
As life’s responsibilities have grown, the time has come to step away from running and operating a business while being full time dads, husbands, and employees.
You’ll hear from @VincentLococo, @Producer_Keith, @CardN_AL & @keelindemtweets a lot more. Highly encourage you to follow them!
We’re excited for a new future with The 1912 Society and we hope you’ll be apart of the journey.

This started as a Discord full of people who couldn't shut up about Louisville sports.
Today, @thestateoflou is joining us.
Here's what matters: it's the same State of Louisville you already know. Same voice. Same takes. Same guys driving — we're just handing them a bigger engine.
From The Pink Seats. Starting Five02. The shows you already show up for, with a lot more behind them.
We said we'd build this for us, by us. Today it got a whole lot bigger.
The beginning of a new era...

Dan McDonnell, the head coach at the University of Louisville, has a line that’s stuck with me:
“If you get lost looking at the mountain in front of you, you’ll trip over the molehill at your feet.”
I’ve carried that with me into everyday life.
A connector of all connectors.
Every great team needs a @will_hanke.
