Lagos people are so delusional. They think the entire country revolves around them for real. Pidgin is so central to the Niger Delta that many young people can’t speak their native language. We speak pidgin to our grandparents. People are always shocked when they hear me talk to my folks because we communicate in pidgin. “Originators,” “Popularizers,” can you pick up your phone and speak pidgin with your parents and grandparents? Saying ridiculous things like “the loose English translation of Yoruba is pidgin” when most Yoruba people can’t speak pidgin🤦🏿‍♀️ Think!!!!!!
