Randy Villegas is running to represent CA-22 to be a voice for working people in the halls of Congress. His experience as a rank-and-file UAW member makes him uniquely qualified to do just that — and UAW members are out in force to send him to Washington.
"What excites me most about @Villegas_CA22 running for Congress is the fact that we're seeing what the union difference makes," said one @uawregion6 member. "He started in the UC institution. He was a member of our union. And now he's making sure to continue that legacy of uniting our communities."

Union members recognize the bosses’ divide & conquer strategy” on our ballots, write Mara Rafferty & Jarel Sanders, calling out millionaire-fueled fearmongering about trans youth used to divide & distract working families from the ultimate goal: cutting taxes on the rich.

UAW members have hit a Midterm Milestone: 125,000 doors across the country! With 2 weeks until Election Day, UAW members will continue knocking doors in states like Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maine, Iowa, California, and more.
By reaching out to union voters and their families in places where elections are decided by thin margins, UAW members can cut through the noise to talk to voters about the issues that matter most this midterm.

Shawn Fain is right. It is an outrage that GM is spending $20 billion on stock buybacks to enrich its wealthy shareholders, while 80% of its autoworkers no longer have a pension or retiree health benefits.
That $20 billion should be going to workers, not Wall Street executives.

Every packed hearing, every crowded rally, every legislative visit, and every union meeting built the power to get the California Science Bond on the ballot.
It’s going to take the same dedication from now until March 2028. We did it once, let’s do it again.
A bond measure doesn't pass itself. The Trump administration is trying to gut American science, and California is going to fund it.
To turn this lifeline into law, we need an unstoppable coalition to vote YES. Talk to your lab, and let’s protect lifesaving research.
They told us this bill was dead. They were wrong.
Governor Newsom just signed SB 895. The $7.5 BILLION California Science and Health Research Bond is officially heading to the ballot.
This is a massive win, but it’s not the end of the fight.
Congratulations to the 1,600 communication workers at the University of California on ratifying their new contract!
Our @UAW and @UAW_4811 union family are growing their power and fighting for a better UC system for all.
