German Machado is a hardworking SUNY Brockport employee who came to America seeking safety. He has a valid work permit, has built a life here, and has spent nearly 10 years waiting for his asylum case to be heard. Yet Trump’s ICE agents took him into custody outside his home.
This is outrageous. In Rochester, we believe in hard work, treating people fairly, and looking out for our neighbors. We don’t tear families apart or punish people for seeking a better life. German deserves due process, his family deserves answers, and I’m calling for his release.
