When Bill Haney asked to turn the microphone around and film me for his new documentary on Nobel winner Phil Sharp, who was present at the creation of the biotech industry, I quickly reassured him that I’d be certain to be a massive disappointment. Haney, though, is a persistent enthusiast and barreled ahead. Bill and I will be taking the stage after a screening of his new biodoc in San Francisco January 12 — Sunday afternoon — at 4 pm Pacific at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 700 Howard Street, for a discussion. If you’d like to join us, and there’s no charge, please RSVP to [email protected].
