Chef is honestly not worth the trouble for Vagrant. I got a dev environment working in half the time with nothing but bash scripts.
Blog post on YouTube5 EOL with a bit more explanation: verticalforest.com/2015/08/2…
I am officially ending development of YouTube5. Really this happened long ago, but I hadn't accepted it yet. Thank you everyone who used it!
It's quite a shock getting back into web design after a ~6yr hiatus. Browsers don't suck (as much) anymore. #ie6isgone
@riddlesmccarthy @IamWJC support for Yosemite is coming, I just don't have much time anymore to work on YouTube5.
@Rdio just wanted to say thanks for putting playlists back in the sidebar!
@nachimir yup, duplicating videos is an issue right now. It will be fixed in the next version.
@Ahmadsyarbini thanks for the suggestion, but I think programs like pocket and instapaper are better for saving things for future review.
First taste is remarkably good! A bit gritty, but that honestly doesn't bother me. #soylentpioneer

#YouTube5 v2.6.8 released with fixes for YouTube comments and related videos.
Why #YouTube5 only shows 720p streams on YouTube verticalforest.com/2013/10/2…
@painstaking_co I have actually been pondering renaming the extension to "Native Video" though, b/c it works on a lot of other sites.
@painstaking_co I really like the Vertical Forest logo and the layout! I've been wanting to redesign that site for a long time, so thanks!
#YouTube5 v2.6.7 released fixing support for YouTube, and hopefully OS X 10.9.
Disappointed that the seems on my brand new @American_Giant hoodie are unraveling. What happened to quality?
