Remembrance services are taking place in Southwark next week, and all are welcome to join.
The official borough service for Remembrance Sunday will be at St Saviour’s War Memorial, Borough High Street, on Sunday 8 November at 10.50am (ahead of the nationwide two-minute silence at 11am).
The service will be led by a member of the clergy from of Southwark Cathedral, who will be joined by other religious representatives of the district.
Guests are asked to come together by 10.45am at St Saviour’s War Memorial.
There will also be the traditional Remembrance Service at West Lane War Memorial off Jamaica Road, on Sunday 8 November 2026 at 10.45am.
The official borough service for Armistice Day will take place at West Lane War Memorial on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at 10.45am. It will be led by Father Mark Nicholls, who will be joined by other religious representatives of the district.
Please do come along and join us in remembrance.
