ZDR Events

It’s taken me a few days to put my appreciation into words after Fridays @ZDREvents party. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who came to the event in Brighton - it was an evening of beautiful people, friendship, connections & an atmosphere I’ll never forget. The past 12 years of running ZDR events has been such a journey & I’ve been blessed with support from all you wonderful humans along the way. I’m giving myself some breathing space for the time being, but I know for sure, that when I feel ready to return, the Pelirocco is where it’ll be held ❤️ Huge thanks to everyone at the hotel, and of course all you gorgeous people who have helped out as an integral part of the team & also the performers who have worked for me in the past few years. I’m yet to respond to the numerous messages from the weekend, my inbox has been alight with love. Until we party again Zara -x-

I'm in the process of finalising the line up for our event on 23rd October in Brighton, which will be the last @ZDREvents for the foreseeable future.   A huge thank you to everyone who's snapped up the rooms - they have been SOLD OUT for a few weeks now.   We now have only 9 tickets remaining!   Details of the remaining performers will be announced in the next week or so.   We look forward to welcoming you at the Pelirocco in October for a big last hurrah!  events.humanitix.com/zdr-obs…

Join us on 23rd October in Brighton!   Following my last post, I also wanted to remind everyone that this will be the last @ZDREvents party for a while.   Thank you to everyone who reached out with kind words and support after the announcement - it really means a lot.   As I mentioned before, ZDR has always been a passion project. With the current climate making running events increasingly difficult to sustain, I've made the difficult decision to step back after this event. While I hope ZDR will return one day, there's no timeline for that, so Obscure Occult will be the last opportunity to join us for the foreseeable future.   If you've been thinking about coming, we'd absolutely love to see you there. 🔮The final @ZDREvents of 2026. One last descent into the shadows🔮 We're excited to finally announce the last ZDR event of 2026... Obscure Occult, taking place on 23rd October at the Hotel Pelirocco in Brighton. One last descent into the shadows… Tickets and hotel rooms go live at 9:00am on Tuesday 21st July. There's something else to share also… This may be the last ZDR event for some time. As many of you will know, times are tough at the moment, and we're seeing what a lot of independent promoters are seeing too: attendance across events has become much harder to predict, and unfortunately that makes running events increasingly difficult. ZDR has always been a passion project for me. It's never been about making money - it's always been about creating a space for people to connect & come together. But after taking some time to reflect and re-evaluate following the events earlier this year, I've come to realise that it simply doesn't make sense to keep running events at a loss. That doesn't necessarily mean this is goodbye forever. I may just need to step back for a while, recharge, and see what the future looks like. If and when ZDR returns, I want it to be because I can give it the time, energy and resources it deserves. If you've ever thought about coming to a ZDR event, or you've been meaning to return, I'd genuinely love to see you at Obscure Occult. It would mean a lot to give 2026 the send-off it deserves with all of you there. Thank you to everyone who's supported ZDR over the years - whether you've been with us since the beginning 12 years ago or discovered us more recently. Every ticket bought, every kind word, every memory and every weekend we've shared together has meant more than you probably realise. Here's to one more unforgettable weekend. See you in Brighton.
