Hey, y'all. I know we are really mad at TaxDome and that's valid, but Intuit is Intuiting again. Imagine paying actual dollars to go to Intuit Connect and learning that Intuit is rolling out marketing that is a blatant ripoff of your trademarked branding. That's what happened to Madeline Reeves last week. My ask: 1. Follow @AdvisoryAmp on all of the things. 2. Go to their website, sign up for updates, and, if you feel so led, sign up for the Virtual Playback of the conference (it's GOOD content you won't get anywhere else, unless you went to the live version, obvi). 3. I'm going to go beyond anything Madeline would ever ask, and ask that you let @Intuit @IntuitAccts @QuickBooks know that this is completely unacceptable. 4. DO NOT go to their LI and comment on their post. It just amplifies their message. In 2022, I told my team we were transitioning off all Intuit products over the next 12 months, and we did it, with the exception of our tax software (given how little compliance I do, I can still sleep at night). The reason was less egregious but rooted in the same principal: Intuit does not care about accountants and they will pull the rug out from under you every chance they get. Stop promoting them, going to their conferences, speaking for them, and joining their boards. They will stab every single one of us in the back.
