I’m in awe at the pettiness and poor judgment in this statement.
Quite a statement from Abdul El-Sayed: "Congresswoman Stevens seems intent on relitigating a primary that ended three months ago."

When people tell you who they are, believe them. Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign has been based on vile racism and antisemitism, funded by groups who support terrorism, and designed to divide and blame. As I said the day after the primary, if you believe Michigan can have a future where we can all come together, you have a home with us. I say today: if you are a Haley Stevens voter who rejects this bigoted and hateful candidate, you have a home with us. If you believe we can all work together to make housing affordable, improve education and, lower gas prices, you have a home with us. Let’s Get to Work.

Doubling down and not condemning antisemitism. We’ll see if that Sunday rally with Stevens, Clyburn and AES actually takes place.

I was shocked this caused such a stir—because I have heard this EXACT rhetoric from Abdul El-Sayed: Abdul El-Sayed on April 7: "I don't pay taxes so another country gets a tank or a bomb. I pay my taxes so our kids get schools and healthcare." This was at a rally where Hasan Piker also said this: "every single dollar that is spent on a bomb is stolen from each and every one of you."
New @RebellionPac ad dropping in Michigan. We have to suffer here at home, so Israel can get all its wars. That’s why they buy politicians like Mike Rogers. He promised to serve Israel “unconditionally,” but never made that promise to you.

⛺ As part of preparations for the winter season, more than 85,000 tents have entered the Gaza Strip in recent months, alongside more than 8,000 trucks carrying winter supplies, including clothing, tarpaulins, blankets, and other items. 🚰🏥 In addition, projects in the WASH and healthcare sectors are being advanced, including the drainage of sewage channels, repairs to water and electricity infrastructure, road repairs, and more. As part of these efforts, the entry of a wide range of advanced equipment has recently been approved, including 8 sewage vacuum trucks, 3 mobile clinics, and 7,500 doses of tetanus vaccine. ⛽ As part of the ongoing supply of essential resources to humanitarian facilities, fuel and engine oil continue to be provided regularly under monitoring and oversight mechanisms. COGAT will continue working in coordination with the @BoardOfPeace, alongside the @UN, international organizations, and donor countries, to improve the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, particularly ahead of the approaching winter season.

This is an absurd and inaccurate take. The 19 elected Members of Knesset who come from the Arab parties will soon be sworn in. They will have majority making power in the Israeli parliament. That fact says a lot about Israel.
Netanyahu accused Arab Israeli voters of fraud. Racist. Undemocratic. Whether the opposition forms a coalition with them says a lot about Israel.

Under Operation Economic Outcast, Iran’s regime is running out of lifelines, and its proxies are feeling the pressure. Tehran is struggling to move money, while the IRGC is reportedly failing to pay its own troops. We are cutting the regime’s ability to fund the Houthis, Hamas, and Hizballah. We will not allow Tehran to continue financing their campaign of terror.

Karen, exactly where is the @AbdulElSayed denunciation? He’s been silent on the substance of the ad, which is unsurprising as it is 100% consistent with what he has said in his own voice throughout the campaign.
Let’s get the facts straight @HaleyforMI the Rebellion PAC ad, was not produced by Abdul’s campaign. He denounced it within hours.

Please follow this entire thread. Tucker Carlson is deranged. He accuses me personally of ignoring a US citizen allegedly attacked in Judea/Samaria by Israelis & says I "blew him off." Tucker knows how to contact me, but he'd rather make unfounded accusations than get facts. Here is a timeline of Embassy Jerusalem American Citizen Services' interactions on this case. We have never been able to speak directly to the father, (name redacted) who was allegedly injured in an attack by settlers, only to his son in Chicago, (name redacted). The son has repeatedly asked that he be the only person with whom we speak with. 19 Oct – ACS received an email from (son) alleging his father had been attacked at his home in Turmusaya by settlers and was now at Istishari Hospital in Ramallah. We called the son in Chicago the same day and asked for contact information for his father which he was unwilling to provide. We followed up the same day with an email to (son). 20 Oct – We followed up with another email to (son) asking for contact information. (Son) asked us to call him.  We called the son twice that day and there was no answer. We called the hospital in Ramallah several times but were unable to reach anyone. 21 Oct – Received another email from (son) saying his father was undergoing surgery at the hospital. We called the son in Chicago who said he would send contact information for next of kin in the WB which we didn’t receive. He stated he didn’t want to pursue the matter with the local authorities and said family members would travel from the States to the WB and wanted assurances they wouldn’t be denied entry at the airport. 22 Oct – We spoke again with (son) who subsequently wrote in an email…”Thank you for taking the time to speak with me and for your understanding regarding the tragic incident involving my father. Thank you again for your time, support, and assistance during this difficult time.”  We responded in an email that we would like to speak directly with his father or his uncle and asked for local contact numbers. We didn’t receive any numbers. We received another email that same day saying his brother and mother were traveling to the WB from the States and he wanted assurances that they would be allowed in. We also received medical reports and photos passed to us from the son showing the wounds of his father. 23 Oct – We called the hospital in Ramallah but were unable to reach the father. 26 Oct – We called the (son) in Chicago, but no answer. We left a message asking if the brother and mother had arrived and contact numbers for them. We haven’t received a response or contact numbers. Tucker, you can apologize when you find your conscience & acknowledge the facts.
Ambassador Huckabee, this is unreleased video of an American who was beaten almost to death last week by Israeli settlers. You know his name because he came to you for help, but you blew him off. That’s disgraceful. Do your job. @GovMikeHuckabee @SecRubio @davidamilstein @WhiteHouse

Read How Qatar Bought America in @TheFP thefp.com/p/how-qatar-bought…
I’ve had this weight on me for a while and felt the need to share it once and for all. Years ago, the CEO and co-founder of Semafor, a media publication, approached me. He presumably wanted me to consider investing, because he spent a significant amount of time boasting about all of his supplemental sources of revenue. I was stunned when he bragged about getting an enormous amount of money from the government of Qatar. The pretense was that he was receiving these funds to “train journalists.” I don’t recall the precise amounts, but recall that he acknowledged that the cost to conduct this “training” was a tiny fraction of what he was getting paid - directionally it was something like getting paid $2mm to conduct a “media training” boot camp that would cost Semafor $50,000 to execute. I pointed out that it sounded like he was being bribed - that nobody with proper intentions would offer to pay something that was 20-100X off market - and no entity pretending to be a journalism outfit should accept stuff like that, as it would compromise him. He insisted that wouldn’t happen. But over the course of many years, I’ve observed how Semafor continues to receive government sponsorships and perform all sorts of “trainings” and “conferences” in partnership with Qatar, while providing very complementary coverage to the government of Qatar. This is downright unethical - and particularly unbecoming of an outfit pretending to be “training journalists”! The problem doesn’t end with Semafor. The government of Qatar has been buying off media, education and other groups, with reports of how it deployed billions of dollars in the US higher education system. All of us who care about ethics should demand an investigation into these practices. Regardless of whether legal authorities choose to look into this, we as the people and the consumers should admonish such egregious behavior and ensure we avoid “media” publications that are so compromised. Countless journalists risk their lives every day to expose abuses in power. Semafor does a disservice to the profession by undermining trust. @buildersmideast @BuildersMvt

This ad is vile antisemitism, plain and simple. Abdul El-Sayed needs to stop hiding. He must condemn it, and tell his friend to take it down. Scapegoating Jews is one of the oldest tropes in the book, and it has led to violence from the pogroms to the Holocaust to our communities today. Silence isn’t leadership. Abdul needs to call out this hate. No excuses, no hiding.
Abdul El-Sayed blames Israel for the price of your eggs and bananas, even though he knows that higher grocery prices are only due to supply, energy and inflation factors. Shame on anyone voting for a candidate who uses Antisemitic talking points to win an election.

Last Monday, 214 Gaza residents, along with their escorts, departed Gaza through the Kerem Shalom Crossing for onward evacuation to a third country via Jordan. These weekly evacuations are part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to facilitate departures from Gaza. Working in close coordination with the international community, COGAT continues its efforts to maintain humanitarian stability in Gaza. Since October 2023, COGAT has facilitated the evacuation of more than 52,000 Gaza residents to third countries for medical treatment and other purposes.
