Will you raise your metaphorical paddle and help us recover from the significant Grants for the Arts funding loss by making a meaningful gift to American Bach? You can do the math; we must compensate for the $122,000 two-year shortfall as soon as possible. fundraise.givesmart.com/form…
Unequivocally one of Bach's most moving and haunting solo cantatas, Ich habe genug ("I have enough") presents a soul who has experienced life's blessings and who, having seen and felt enlightenment, is ready to pass into the next realm, rejoicing in his readiness.
Keep watch! @SFBaroque's next performance is January 26, featuring @srosecoit and @hadleigh.adams. You wouldn't want to miss the madness or the mayhem, would you?
Our 35th season continues in November with countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, followed by even more concerts meant to inspire deep passion for the arts, especially American Bach. Join us on this journey. americanbach.org
American Bach Soloists Make the B-Minor Mass Shine sfcv.org/articles/review/ame…
We plan on it! Thanks for joining us.
Some photos from this weekend. I'd never even heard of the Green Room in the War Memorial Opera House. Also a shot of Mass in B Minor, performed at St. Mark's Lutheran Church off Gough. Stellar acoustics in both spots. Bravo @AmericanBach... do it again, I'll bring more people!
