I wrote books about Manchester United in the 70s, 80s & 90s. Thought it was about time I got stuck into the noughties one. I've been meeting the players and speaking to them about a remarkable time at MUFC. You can pre-order here. linktr.ee/BringOnUnited

MUFC’s under 17s went to Liverpool last night. Premier League Cup. Already qualified having won first two games. So a younger team went, 15s & 16s. 0-3 down at half time - not a surprise. Yet attitude and performance was spot on. Came out and scored three in second half. 3-3

I’m sick of United being everybody else’s punchbag, sick of our name justifying even greater elation when rivals beat the club I love. How the mighty have fallen. And that performance was an affront to the name of Manchester United. For @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7714272…

Trevoh Chalobah never really liked football and came to it late, sometimes crying in the car after training because he felt he was not good enough. After moving to England and living in one room with his parents and siblings, he went on to play more than 100 times for Chelsea and was in England’s World Cup squad. He talks to @AndyMitten about his Chelsea exit, working under Cesc Fabregas at Como and taking a dream board with him to matches. 🔗 nyti.ms/4i7Dnqu

Crystal Palace v MUFC to be played at 2am on the moon in a venue shift for a better TV experience. “We despise football fans who attend football matches in person and want to make that clearer,” said a spokesperson.
