#WATCH | Delhi: Brazilian Senator, Irajá Silvestre Filho says, "... Lula’s re-election is truly unprecedented. It is a triumph of democracy... Lula lost in the first round but managed to clinch victory in the second round... Brazil will continue to engage actively with BRICS, India and the Global South. We are here to find common ground with our BRICS partners. Despite our diversity, different backgrounds and cultures, we are here to help shape the new global order that the world needs. BRICS is one of the key platforms for strengthening multilateralism, ensuring that international institutions better reflect today’s realities and serve the interests of all humanity, not just the countries of the Global South..."

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana | BRS leader Dasoju Sravan says, "Today, a delegation led by our senior leader and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav submitted a representation to the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana regarding serious anomalies in the Graduate MLC voter enrollment process... The entire enrollment process is moving at a snail's pace... We have pointed out that the current deadline of November 6 is far too short and requested an extension of at least 30 days, moving the last date to December 15... These elections exist to safeguard democracy and the Constitution, yet the Election Commission remains silent and negligent in fulfilling its duty. The BRS has stepped forward today to remind them of their responsibilities. We trust they will act on our representation by extending the deadline by one month, activating the BLO framework, and launching a comprehensive campaign to enrol graduate voters."

#WATCH | Kochi, Keralam: Petitioner in the CMRL-Exalogic payoff case, K.M. Shajahan says, "What the division bench has stated today is that the single bench order has been stayed and the FIR will be kept in abeyance for four weeks. So it is only a short reprieve for those who have committed cognizable offenses... When they are heard, my stand will also be discussed... The UDF government should have told the division bench that they should be allowed to continue the investigation. Instead of that, they took a very half-assed decision and said, 'Whatever the court decides, we will abide by that decision'. So from the beginning itself, the UDF has been playing second fiddle to the LDF... From the beginning itself, the attempt of the UDF government has been to save the corrupt leaders of the LDF..."

#WATCH | Hyderabad, Telangana | Congress leader Balmoor Venkat says, "The manner in which the BRS party is spreading misinformation regarding the ongoing water crisis in the state of Telangana is entirely wrong. This water crisis has emerged due to the impact of 'El Niño,' which is being felt across India and the entire world. However, the BRS party is deliberately mischaracterising the situation, propagating the false claim that water is not being lifted from the Kaleshwaram project and is instead flowing directly to Andhra Pradesh. This is completely untrue... Our Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, is working in the best interests of Telangana and its people..."

#WATCH | Kullu, Himachal Pradesh: On the alleged factionalism within the state BJP, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu says, “...The BJP has become a party of fortune-tellers. It has different groups, and each group goes to a different place and declares who will be the Chief Minister. I have said several times that the BJP is now divided into five factions. One group said the election would be fought under JP Nadda's leadership. Then, in Chamba, another group said the election would be fought under its leadership... It is also worth examining what the BJP has done for the state over the past five years despite being divided into five factions... They have left no stone unturned in plundering the state's resources... Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced ₹1,500 crore, but if they do not provide it, who will vote for them?... We fight for our rights and win those battles, and our government tries to ensure that the state's resources reach the last person in society...”

#WATCH | Amritsar, Punjab: Harmanbir Singh Gill, Police Commissioner, Amritsar, says, "The Amritsar Police have apprehended a group involved with illegal weapons. The group consists of two juveniles, along with two others identified as Anmol Singh and Hardeep Singh. They are quite young, approximately 18 and 19 years old. One has completed the eleventh grade, while the other has passed the ninth grade. They were lured and manipulated via social media by criminals based in Pakistan. Their task was to collect illegal weapons, dropped near the border by drones and then distribute them further. They were promised a payment of 20,000 to 25,000 rupees per assignment, but in reality, they received no more than 2,000 rupees. They have now fallen into the police net. A total of 16 pistols, one stolen Activa scooter, and 17 live cartridges have been recovered. We have also uncovered details regarding their broader network specifically, where they were supposed to supply these weapons and the identities of the intended recipients. #WATCH | Hague, Netherlands: On carbon tariff policy, Minister of Foreign Trade, Netherlands, Sjoerd Sjoerdsma says, "I don't think there will be any renegotiation of CBAM ( European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) because we view it as a necessary measure to ensure that we stick to the goals that the entire world agreed to, the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. We believe that this is an essential instrument to ensure that not only we but the entire world adheres to these goals. But I see where you're coming from, and also the Netherlands is perhaps one of the few countries that really invests a lot in helping small and medium-sized enterprises in other countries, countries like India, but also other partners to help explain those rules and to make sure that it becomes easier to comply with them. The difficulty in some of these guidelines, some of them are quite complex to follow, and if you have a small company, you have a lot of other things to do than just read all those guidelines."

#WATCH | Solan, Himachal Pradesh: On failed quality tests of life-saving medicines and pharmaceutical companies manufacturing substandard drugs, State Health Minister Dhani Ram Shandil says, “I believe humanity has become its own enemy. Manufacturers seem to have forgotten that this is not just our problem... If even paracetamol is suspected to be substandard and people cannot trust it, it is deeply distressing. We are doing our best in this case as well. An independent inquiry has been ordered into the recent incident, and I am hopeful that not only will the companies’ licences be cancelled, but we will also prevent such companies from continuing their operations in Himachal Pradesh...”

#WATCH | Hague, Netherlands: On Potential of India- Netherlands trade, Minister of Foreign Trade, Netherlands, Sjoerd Sjoerdsma says, "... The potential is almost unlimited, and I would like to see it double as soon as soon as possible. But let's take one example. The Netherlands is a world leader when it comes to the semiconductor industry through companies like ASML, and we have a unique position and a unique responsibility in this entire value chain. There's also a unique new cooperation between ASML and Tata in India, building a new fab, and I think this will be the first building stone of what will be a major new part of our economic relationship, based on the semicon. And we all know, looking at the tremendous potential within India when it comes to the semiconductor industry, if we look at the tremendous quality and innovation that we can provide, this partnership can be huge."
