Today we’re launching Liquid Inference, an OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible router where inference providers compete on price for every prompt. Buyers route across 700+ open- and closed-weight models at the lowest available marginal cost, providers onboard instantly to start serving models.

An organization on Liquid Inference pays for the workspaces under it. Each team keeps its own workspace, and every job is charged to the organization's balance and counts against its budget. Only owners and admins can add funds or withdraw. Guide: inference.ai.exchange/docs/o…

Couldn't have asked for better Day 1 partners than @BoundlessHQ and @sshankar. More tokens coming..
Boundless is #1 on @Architect_Fi's Liquid Inference for throughput and TTFT. Serving DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 at 750+ tok/s Faster inference starts here.

Liquid Inference is serving 10B tokens/day and growing 200% week over week. Most of the traffic is agents and long chats. Across 470k charged jobs, 88.7% of input tokens were cache reads. Here’s how our matching algorithm prices offers with cache hit rate included: In multi-turn and agentic workloads, the biggest cost and latency wins come from prefix/KV cache reuse. Each turn resends the full conversation, so if a provider still has that prefix in its cache it can bill those tokens at its cache-read rate, often a small fraction of the normal input rate. Naive load balancing or pure price auctions scatter a session across different providers or replicas, forcing full prefill on every turn and destroying the savings. Our matching algorithm ranks offers on the expected charge inclusive of cache hit rate rather than the full list price: 1. We measure how much of each workspace’s input repeats from one turn to the next (7-day window, at least 50 jobs). 2. We multiply that share by the measured cache hit rate of each deployment. 3. We price those tokens at the offer’s cache-read rate and subtract the expected saving from the offer’s ranking charge. 4. The deployment that served the previous turn keeps a 5% margin, so a cheaper offer has to win by more than 5% to pull a warm session away. In other words, for the right price we will abandon the cache and choose the cheaper alternative. The credit only changes the order of the offers. A wrong estimate cannot make a job cost more than its price cap. Every receipt shows the cache share we expected, the share that was realized, and the credit in dollars. That’s how we continue to improve on cache hit rate and provide the best economics for our clients’ sessions.

A benchmark tells you how a model does on someone else's task. Workloads on Liquid Inference test it on yours. Add 10 to 30 cases with the answer you expect, pick up to four lanes (models, providers, presets or Auto), and a run scores every answer and ranks the lanes by right answers and cost. A run never spends more than its limit: $0.10 by default. Guide: inference.ai.exchange/docs/w…

We did! It's called LiquidInference AI - think of it like an orderbook / live auction for inference!!

The Liquid CLI isn't only for starting coding agents: liquid model --list → live prices for every model, cache reads included liquid cap 0.50 → no request from your agents costs more than 50¢ liquid workspace usage → what you spent, per modelInstall: curl -fsSL inference.ai.exchange/cli/in… | bash

I'm particularly excited about reservations. If we can build meaningful liquidity in short to medium term reserved capacity deals, we could save a lot of friction. Over time, I imagine most will have a hybrid approach with a base of reserved capacity for higher consequence tasks, and purchase any overflow that's more elastic transactionally. For both markets, providers will compete and you can compare on Liquid Inference.
Announcing Reservations on Liquid Inference. Inference buyers can now reserve batches of tokens in advance at fixed prices over any time period. Providers compete to offer the best terms and SLAs instantly. How it works: • Enter a lock-in duration from 1 to 12 months • Specify token rate and uptime requirements • Select from ZDR, SOC2, and other compliance/privacy features • Receive multiple quotes and terms • Negotiate through in-app messaging directly with providers • Optionally allow overage to automatically query the spot market Providers benefit from standardized contracts, automated billing, SLA monitoring, and zero additional fees to participate. Check it out and let us know, we’re here for all feedback.

Shipped this week on Liquid Inference: • Reservations: a monthly token pool from a provider at a fixed fee • Workloads: test a task on your own cases, then buy the provider that wins • Organizations: one balance and one budget for all your team workspaces • MCP server: add it to your agent with one command • Auto: keeps a session on the provider that holds its cache • Guardrails: new rate limits, and a spend budget for each of your end users • Speech to text: priced per second of audio • liquid.free: buys only free offers • Add :web to any model to search the web first Try it all on liquidinference.ai

Guaranteeing that kind of reserved capacity (hundreds of billions of tokens/day) for customers is a sweet spot for us. Happy to work with @Architect_Fi for servicing many more such requests. @BoundlessHQ is growing 2-10x every week.. our appetite is (you guessed it) Boundless.
Liquid Inference Reservations are now live! Need one trillion tokens guaranteed over the next month? Reserve token capacity at fixed prices, preferred privacy terms, and required SLAs from a hand-selected set of inference providers.

Instant Inference reservations will soon be available on the Liquid Marketplace! Businesses can no longer afford the disfunction of variable rates and reliability. Cost and price are not the same. Great work @Architect_Fi / @BrettHarrison.

If your organization is using OSS Models for internal use or needs inference for your product, this should be your go-to website. 1. Compare live offers from white-listed providers 2. Request for inference quotes (fixed rates and term lengths) 3. Match up! An example: Request 6-months of fixed price on GLM 5.3 capped at 100B tokens/day at $X/mToken.

Hard-coding a model name means a code change every time a better or cheaper model comes out. With Liquid Inference you make a preset (which models, a strategy, a price cap) and pass its name as the model: model="fast-coding". Edit the preset later. Your code doesn't change.

You can only do 50 in a couple of weeks if your onboarding process is air-tight. Sub 3 hours in some cases.
Fifty providers are now in the Liquid Inference network, up 22 in a week, over half the size of competitors’ networks in two weeks since launch. Every frontier open-weight LLM is quoted, and we actively benchmark all model+provider pairs to ensure model weight fidelity.

Great analysis from the always insightful @CooperVeit3
"The man who does not use computation cannot compete with the man who avails himself of its secrets. No hedge fund can price second order effects faster than a 200-megawatt Jane Street data center. No lone genius can produce a better language model than Anthropic." @CooperVeit3 on the secretive, unborn market for compute: arenamag.com/articles/counti…
