You might be a college-level football player… but what if a coach never watches your highlight long enough to see your best?
🏈 College coaches evaluate hundreds of prospects. Your highlight film needs to grab their attention FAST.
After 10+ years working in college football recruiting at Cincinnati and Purdue, I've seen firsthand how film can help—or hurt—an athlete's recruiting opportunities. I've sat with numerous coaches that would shut off a tape before it really got rolling. Their time is valuable, and if you waste it, you might lose your chance to be evaluated.
📲 Swipe through these 4 mistakes that could be causing coaches to stop watching your film.

The next big thing out of Westfield HS. 2028 @BeauKurtz2028 stands 6'5 265 and started at LT this season.
Beau plays with great athleticism and plays with a tough and nasty demeanor! He also maintains really good balance and has great footwork. Not to mention hes going up against the best competition in the state of Indiana on a weekly basis!
Check him out! 🔽🔽

🏈 YOUR SEASON IS OVER… BUT YOUR RECRUITING IS JUST GETTING STARTED! 📈
The offseason is where recruiting momentum is built.
The biggest mistake you can make right now? Sitting around waiting for college coaches to find you.
If you're serious about playing football at the next level, it's time to get to work.
✅ GET YOUR FILM IN ORDER — Your best 3–5 plays should immediately show coaches why you can play at the next level.
✅ UPDATE YOUR TWITTER/X PROFILE — Make sure your information is accurate, your height/weight is verified if possible, and your latest film is pinned.
✅ BUILD YOUR SCHOOL LIST — Target programs that fit your athletic ability, academics, and recruiting situation.
✅ TAKE ACTION — Complete questionnaires, contact coaches, and follow up consistently.
Remember, recruiting is a PROCESS. Don't wait for opportunities. Create them.

YOUR FIRST 5 PLAYS CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOUR RECRUITMENT.
College football coaches aren't going to sit through your entire highlight film waiting to see if you can play.
You need to grab their attention IMMEDIATELY.
Your first 5 plays should showcase the traits that prove you have what it takes to compete at the next level.
✅ Lead with your BEST plays, not necessarily your biggest plays.
✅ Showcase your athleticism, physicality, and position-specific traits.
✅ Give coaches a reason to KEEP WATCHING.
If you don't catch their attention early, you risk having your film turned off before they ever see your true potential.

If you aren't getting the recruiting attention you expected or hoped for, it might be time for an honest evaluation.
As someone who has spent over 10+ years working in FBS college football recruiting and has seen first hand what future college football players look like on HS tape, who better than me to take a look at your film and see what needs corrected.
♦️Your film might not lead off with enough sizzle
♦️Your film may run in chronological order
♦️You might not know exactly what your strengths are and how to properly highlight them
Whatever the case may be, get it evaluated by an expert who knows exactly what they are looking at.
I'm evaluating film at no cost to you and providing feedback on:
• Strengths
• Areas for improvement
• and projected college level
