My latest take on what’s happening in Florida - and mostly me trying to wrap my head around the GOP turnout numbers

14 dead at a train station in Dnipro.
Two 15-year-old girls killed by a cruise missile in Chernihiv.
Three dead in a Kremenchuk apartment strike.
56 injured, including 10 children.
This is the reality of the Russian invasion.
Yet the Trump administration just publicly called Putin a "humanitarian" while waiving sanctions, lifting tariffs, and authorizing the import of Russian diesel.
We are no longer just abandoning a democratic ally; we are actively funding their slaughter.

I have spoken out against anti-Muslim hate in the Michigan Senate race. I will speak out just as loudly when the target is Jewish people.
Let me state a little-known fact: ISRAEL GETS LESS THAN 0.1 PERCENT OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET. That’s less than one tenth of a percent!
But there is an ad running that tells voters they can’t afford groceries because the United States gives so much money to Israel. In reality, the United States spends money in and on countries all around the world – but this ad singles out the Jewish state. The ad is as dangerous as it is dishonest.
You can disagree with how the United States spends money abroad. But telling hungry families that the Jewish state is the reason they are suffering is wrong and shameful.
Blaming Jews for people’s problems is an old story. Anybody who has read the last century of history knows where it leads. It is a dark pathway.
This ad is anti-Jewish hate and should come down immediately. Abdul El-Sayed should denounce it today.
One week. Ignore the polls. Knock doors. Make calls. Send texts. Donate. Volunteer. Turn out every voter you can. Fight for every vote as if we're ten points down. The stakes are too high for complacency. Let’s do this.
At least 12 people, including six children, were injured in a Saturday evening shooting near Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. If you barely heard about it, that's because shootings like this have become an almost daily occurrence in America. That isn't normal. It isn't acceptable. And it's long past time we did something about it.

Bragging about “making money”while families are choosing between a full tank and a full fridge is the most "let them eat cake" moment in modern history.
It’s remarkable watching the people who spent a decade attacking the Obama Iran Deal now twist themselves into knots to defend the chaos Trump ignited.
A Democratic sweep in the midterms won’t magically fix everything overnight. But between Trump entering lame-duck territory and Democrats gaining the subpoena power to check his corruption, the fever will finally start to break. It’s a long road back, but this is where the turnaround begins.
Imagine the bottomless narcissism required to stand on a stage and clutch a framed, Microsoft Word-templated certificate declaring you "Man of the Century".
Dragging someone’s childhood trauma into a political ad is vile, bottom-feeder garbage. You forfeit any claim to lead the second you greenlight this kind of depravity.
They don’t build. They don’t respect history. They don’t protect anything. They just break everything they touch out of pure arrogance and incompetence. At this point, no one should have a shred of patience left for this clown show.
