Unlimited audiobooks, no more. Sadly Bardowl never managed to make it. Not all good ideas survive. Final Quote So long and thanks for all the fish.

@Gemma1Shields thanks Gemma much appreciated. Not all good ideas make it but the learning from trying to innovate lives on :)
Bad news day for innovation in the book business: first Bardowl, and now Blinkbox Books. Good day for Amazon.

Final audiobook quote. Obvious but very apt: "So long and thanks for all the fish."

Does anyone remember a children’s book from ~30 years ago about a yellow bird trying to fly?
thanks @m1ke_ellis - little known & quite interesting fact - @stephenfry was one of the 1st beta testers of the Bardowl app in 2010

Today is #FryDay to celebrate #MoreFoolMe by @stephenfry being launched yesterday. Audio version available here bit.ly/bardowl

Not sure our competitors have listened to More Fool Me yet, they certainly haven't included it in their "Unlimited" Subscription ;)
