A great article from UC San Diego on their new Bee Campus status. Many of their landscaping practices already align w/our BCUSA priorities. Through their integrated pest management (IPM) program, they already cut their pesticide usage by approx 70-80%! buff.ly/3S0SWU0

Can't afford to buy seeds? 🌸 Split/propagate your own plants 🌼 Collect wild seeds -- make sure you have permission 🌻 Visit your local seed library (or start one!) 🌺 Check social media, free/buy-nothing groups, the free section of Craigslist, etc. 💐 Trade seeds & cuttings

Are you dreaming of spring from your snow cave? Perusing seed catalogs already? Us too. This year, consider adding more native, pesticide-free plants to feed the bees, moths, flies, birds, and bats. Even a few pots of flowers can create good habitat for our pollinating neighbors.
