Boarded for Dublin, headed to TPAC. I’m really looking forward to discussing observables in the web platform again. It’s come so far already. Hopefully we can figure this out and finalize it.

The designer himself specified that this is the name of his car on purpose. It is an Easter egg. x.com/ianzelbo/statu…

Thank you everyone who helped me out. This is important work IMO, and this was an unexpectedly nice thing to happen on my birthday.
Calling all observable lovers! There’s an important meeting in Dublin next week deciding on the future of observables in the browser, and @BenLesh is going on his own dime to fight the good fight for *cold* observables! Most attendees are from large companies like Google who cover costs (thousands of dollars), but no one is as important as Ben to make sure we get the design right to make a more resilient web possible. So if you’ve benefitted from his work on rxjs, or care about getting observables done right natively, kick a few bucks to sponsor his advocacy via travel expenses. Venmo: venmo.com/u/BenLesh

With agentic coding, I've basically turned into @DavidKPiano: Bot: I've wrote this complex thing, there's 185 unit tests. Me: I've tested it, there's a lot of bugs, use a state machine. Bot: Okay, done. Me: Look! No bugs. Good job.

TIL that 5 days ago Anthropic discovered http compression. 😂
We keep improving performance across Claude, and you may have noticed it starts responding sooner! Claude Code now gzips the conversation it sends on every turn, so it reaches the model faster. Cloud sessions also start up as soon as you start typing.

Jokes on them. I remember the last time I wrote alert("fuck you") for IE5 and accidentally shipped it to prod.
one day you wrote console.log("here") for the last time and didn't even know it

ChatGPT... render a chandolier asset for me using Blender. (Sol 6.1 Medium) It does this all headlessly too. Crazy. I don't know what MeshyAI, et al, are going to do.
I asked ChatGPT (with Sol 6.1 Medium) to create a "section of haunted mansion wall, like a part from the Sims game" using Blender (my local copy on my Windows machine), and a minute later I had this 3D asset. I'm SHOCKED at the outcome. First try too! cc @coreyching

I think it’s hilarious that we’ve entered the age where every small business like “Bob’s Heating and Cooling” has an obviously AI generated logo. Folks: even if it’s AI generated, you still need help 🤣
