🤓 an entire conversation happened here. gave Josh his props for having very big moments for the NYK in 3 seperate playoffs now. HOWEVER there were also MANY moments where a guy like Shamet got inserted with the starters and an offense that was in the mud QUICKLY started to sing

It was a 11 years ago, but I experienced it first hand with the Dame and LaMarcus Aldridge situation. Dame didn’t even know there was a beef/frustration like that and the GM didn’t bring it up or address it with Dame until LaMarcus was in the MIDDLE OF FREE AGENCY and already writing off Portland. It was something that could have been easily solved if management understood how to actually manage people and personalities. Less than two seasons later BOTH guys were trying to figure out if they could make a reunion happen. @JCrossover (a person with GREAT people skills) was the facilitator. There likely never would have been a break up with better management.
