Nasdaq carries an unusually high volatility premium vs the S&P 500. After the Fed and tech earnings, smaller-than-priced swings, resilient stocks and a narrowing premium could signal easing risk concerns.

Volume is one measure of adoption, breadth is another. BNB Chain stablecoin holder addresses doubled YoY to 89.6M in Sep 2026, with about US$4.3T settled since Sep 2025. It led all chains in new addresses in Q1 to Q3 2026, and ranks second in total, 0.2M behind TRON.
RESEARCH: Stablecoins settled roughly $35T onchain in 2025, more than @Visa and @Mastercard combined. Only about $390B of it was a real payment. A new CoinDesk Research report maps where the value actually went, and why @crediblefin is building for the gap in between.

The key paradox is that these six neocloud companies generate gross margins of 40–77%, yet ROA and ROIC remain at or below zero. The challenge is the cost of capital-intensive infrastructure, GPU depreciation and interest expenses on debt-funded expansion, can absorb much of the gross profit before it translates into positive returns.

$BTC tops @JPMorganAM 's long-term return forecasts at 10% a year, ahead of US stocks at 7.5% and gold at 5.5%. A modest call for an asset that compounded at ~63% a year over the past decade and ~42% over the past three. JPM is taking the conservative route. Even so, JPM's 55% vol assumption implies a Sharpe of ~0.32, matching US large caps. And realized vol has already fallen from ~74% (10Y) to ~50% (3Y). At 42% vol and a 13% CAGR, the Sharpe rises to ~0.45. Bitcoin isn't just a high-return asset anymore. It's becoming a better risk-adjusted one.
🔥 BIG: JPMorgan Asset Management included Bitcoin in its 2027 Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions. Its base case projects a 10% annualized return for bitcoin:native over the next decade, the highest of any asset in its comparison.

Spot ETF in 2024. IBIT options that November. Now a buffer ETF filing. Buffer ETFs hold US$100B+, mostly in stocks. That’s more than IBIT, the biggest Bitcoin ETF, at about US$65B. Lots of cautious money on the sidelines, and Wall Street’s big name is building the on-ramp.
BREAKING🚨 @BlackRock just filed for another Bitcoin ETF. This one will be a "buffer" Bitcoin ETF which will means it will offer downside protection but investors will give up some upside to get that protection. Ticker will be $PBIT.

Inflation is rising. The turning point may already be close. September CPI reached 3.7% YoY. The selloff was sharp. But higher energy prices and base effects had already set the stage for this rebound. Here is the path our baseline suggests: • October: the current inflation rebound could peak. • Year-end: inflation stays elevated, with gradual cooling. • March 2027: relief becomes more visible as spring 2026’s high energy prices enter the annual comparison. This assumes energy prices ease and other CPI contributions remain steady. Oil does not need to collapse for base effects to help. The risk is another energy shock or renewed underlying inflation pressure. For now, there is reason to look beyond the immediate scare. The market is feeling the inflation squeeze. The window for relief may already be approaching.

The FSB's new report on global stablecoin arrangements notes that deep, liquid secondary markets could "help stabilise prices toward the peg." Binance data offers one test. Across 127 BTC stress days since 2019, large USDC/USDT depegs have become rarer and shorter. On every day BTC moved ≥8% or swung ≥12% intraday, the time spent >20bp off peg fell from an average of 539 minutes in 2019–20 to 14 since 2023, under similar levels of market stress. The order books behind this have deepened too: USDC/USDT depth within ±20bp hit a record in March 2026, a monthly median of $351M, 5.8x the 2024 median ($60M). In practice, a large share of stablecoin exits might happen on secondary markets rather than through the issuer: in 2025, trading between stablecoins on Binance alone reached $769bn, versus $226bn of USDC redeemed by Circle, the only major issuer that publishes annual redemptions.
We have analysed the cross-border dimension of global #stablecoins from a financial stability perspective. Read our short summary note to the #G20 to find out about potential cross-border vulnerabilities and the data that could support their monitoring: bit.ly/4rXVQu2

The recent pullback in AI hardware reflects renewed concerns over returns on massive compute spending, sparked by discrepancies in reported OpenAI revenue. Higher real rates are also raising financing costs and weighing on valuations. The prevailing market view is that the AI investment cycle will continue, with the next phase favoring enterprise software, data and cybersecurity platforms that can monetize AI. Recent sector performance already shows this divergence. Hardware’s ability to regain leadership will depend on further improvements in order outlooks and upward revisions to earnings forecasts.
