once you use wabi, it feels crazy that group chats and agents were ever separate.
life happens in group chats, but they're terrible at getting things done.
agents are great at getting things done, but they're single-player.
that makes no sense.
that’s why @wabi is the AI assistant you use together.
it notices things, suggests what to do, gets stuff done, and even makes apps when it helps.
for me, it’s meant less time coordinating and more time connecting.
now open to everyone. try it with your friends and family: wabi.ai/get
Wabi 2.0 is live!
personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person
Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat
school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it.
a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets.
the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it

one of my favorite wabi use cases: proactive school updates in the family chat
picture day reminders, when school is off or there are abnormal pickup times, and of course strep exposure briefings.
all the school context from email and parentsquare is already in the chat, so we can just text whenever questions come up.
no more digging through emails and outdated edtech platforms at midnight
my dad's favorite @wabi use case: automatically snagging the best tee time the second it opens and keeping all tee times organized in an app.
try it yourself 👇
The future of software is stateful, multiplayer, and collaborative.
The team environment is the ultimate harness, the dining room table where we eat and talk and laugh together.
Eugenia Kuyda of @Wabi predicts that within a year, one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer, with real network effects:
"Today most AI products are single player. And I would say that you could probably argue they don't have much of a moat. They don't necessarily have switching costs."
"It was pretty easy to move between, say, Claude and ChatGPT, but at least they had some memory about me. With these single player agents, it's so easy to jump between them because all the context is in my Gmail."
"I think in a year what we'll see is that one of the biggest consumer AI platforms will be multiplayer and will have network effects in it. Right now we just sort of agree that single player is the way to go for most AI products."
"A year from now, I think we'll look back at it as more kind of the early innings, and the products that win will have a lot of network effects and be focused on you talking to other people, not just AI."

learning portuguese, planning a wedding and tracking my runs used to mean 3 apps and zero consistency
in wabi each one is just a thread. the AI builds a little tracker inside it and checks in on its own
the part i didn't expect: adding my partner to the wedding thread took one tap, and now the AI works for both of us
Today, I’m excited to share that we’ve raised $55M in Series A funding at a $1.25B valuation, led by @IVP, with support from @a16z, @ForerunnerVC, and an incredible group of founders and investors including @Benioff, @tobi, @dickc, and @marissamayer.
Everyone has an operating system for their phone. We’re building one for your life.
Right now, life is scattered across apps, group chats, calendars, and tabs. You’re the one connecting the dots and keeping everyone on the same page.
@wabi is a personal AI that helps you get your whole life organized. It brings your people, context, and apps together so you can coordinate plans, share the mental load, discover new things, and show up for each other.
Because AI shouldn’t just help us get things done. It should help us do more of what we love, with the people we love.

Eugenia is one of the most creative, sharp thinkers in consumer AI, having thought about these opportunities for the better part of the last decade.
We're proud to back @wabi as they bring together mini apps, group texts, and agents into one fun interface.

so proud of the team and what we’ve built so far. can't wait for what comes next

wabi is the best way to onramp friends and family who aren't into ai yet
just start a chat with them and they'll see what's possible
most agents are tossing AI into group chats, which i'm not super bullish on
i've been playing around with @wabi for a bit as a multi-player first approach
what i've liked so far:
1/ proactive planning (caught stuff before i asked)
It saw that I had my flight booked for winter break but didn't have the train booked from my stay to the airport, so it proactively spun up the suggestion in a UI widget to see the status of my travel planning
not sure I always need a widget to shift the UI, but it's a unique approach and I appreciate seeing the dynamic UI
2/ shared planning
I used it for general task delegation with my gf, which was a very cool experience in its ability to help delegate tasks, spin up a UI to showcase where things stand as a checklist (i really liked this dynamic UI)
it could assign tasks as well based on previous context it had already gathered
3/ gets people into AI who don't know where to start
I have friends who aren't into AI but i know they'd use it if they were part of it, so just adding them to a Wabi chat is a cool way to see their "aha" moment without requiring any user inertia to get going
Multiplayer is still so early, excited to see what new innovation comes from Wabi and the general space as a whole
clear chat permissions make group chats with wabi smart enough to help while giving you complete control
if you’re organizing a group of any size, give @wabi a try - it takes the work of planning off your plate
with the right context, wabi can:
suggest relevant ideas for the group
find times that work for everyone
book the spot
handle rsvps
pay the bill
spin up a photo album app for the memories
bc tech should make it easier to get together, not harder
so much of my mental chatter comes from open loops. little things i should do but don't have the time, energy, or patience for.
appointments for me and my family
returns, free trials i should cancel, subscriptions i want to remove
follow-ups, scheduling, house maintenance stuff
none of these things are hard, they’re just annoying.
that's where i've found wabi to be so helpful, it closes these loops for me and often gets ahead of them so i never even have to think about it

i absolutely hate budgeting so i have wabi keep track of our family finances
we just rolled out plaid so you can do that too! connect your bank accounts to your family group chat and stay on top
of your $$$
Wabi 🤝 @Plaid
managing money with your partner or friends just got easier.
connect your bank account, talk to wabi, and understand your finances
“help us cut down on our takeout spending”
“set a $1000 savings goal for our family trip”
“how can we save on our monthly spending?”
“what subscriptions do we have that we should cut back or merge?”
finally understand your money, together, and build apps that help.
Good afternoon to @wabi users specifically 👋

it’s amazing that you can now just talk to your bank.
it used to take spreadsheets and pdfs and so much time to get even a simple overview of your finances. now you can just ask @wabi once you connect @Plaid
save money by finding what to cancel or where you overspend
see where your money is actually going.
build apps that helps visualize it all
give it a try 👇

Personal AI assistants like Muse and Instinct rely on a single chat thread for multiple projects and goals. New agent @wabi gives users multiple chats they can share with friends and an app-builder to boot. @ekuyda on @EquityPod about why this is a better UI.

Been using @wabi for a while now, and finally, an agent that:
a) understands that most things are coordinated between multiple 'humans' (family, friends, etc.)
b) doesn't put every single project in a single convo/river
c) doesn't always flood you with text but shows fun pages!
Great job @ekuyda & team!
