$ONDS The publicity that Rotron’s planned expansion is getting is crazy.. ———————————————— Chris Cole, the director and founder of Drone Wars UK, a British NGO that researches and campaigns on the use of armed drones, told AOAV: “At the same time that Andy Burnham is talking publicly about holding the Israeli government to account for its actions in Gaza and the West Bank, there are real and serious questions to be asked about possibility of British-developed drone technology soon assisting Israeli military forces in their multiple and on-going unlawful attacks in the region.”   Local resident and businesswoman Joanna Jacobs said: “What these cheap drones can do, how far they can travel and how much explosive they can carry, is deeply troubling. To me, this technology feels sinister and anti-life. There is an organic farm directly behind the site and a village school a quarter of a mile away. Why put a facility like this here?” “Any evidence of technology transfer from Rotron to Israel via Ondas will clearly show Ministers’ repeated claims of having one of the strongest arms export regimes in the world to be utterly false.”
