BREAKING: Fishtown Man Who Has Been a Sixers Fan for 14 Days Now Considered One of Philadelphia’s Leading Basketball Experts Frank, 32, of Fishtown, has officially declared himself a lifelong Sixers fan after watching nine basketball games and purchasing a $180 LeBron James jersey. Frank, who previously believed the NBA was a government agency, now spends six hours a day explaining why LeBron is the greatest player in Sixers franchise history. When asked about Allen Iverson, Frank said he wasn't familiar with his work but assumed he was a local tattoo artist. Frank lives in a $2,400-a-month apartment with three roommates, owns a bicycle worth more than his car, and has 17 tattoos, including a mushroom, a crying possum, and a toaster he got during a particularly difficult breakup. He works remotely for a company nobody understands, drinks $14 craft beers that taste like lawn clippings, and hasn't eaten a cheesesteak since 2019 because he believes bread is a colonial construct. Despite having never attended a game before October, Frank has already called for the entire coaching staff to be fired twice, demanded three trades, and started a podcast called The Process Is Personal. He recently informed a 68-year-old season ticket holder that Philadelphia basketball has always been about loyalty, something Frank understands deeply after switching from the Brooklyn Nets two Thursdays ago. At press time, Frank was explaining to a bartender that the Sixers should retire LeBron's jersey immediately, while asking whether Wilt Chamberlain was the guy who invented basketball.

Before I visited Pennsylvania, everyone warned me that Philadelphia people are the toughest, most impatient people in America. I believed them until I walked toward the front door of a Wawa gas station. I was still forty feet away in the parking lot, walking between rows of cars. A massive construction worker in steel-toe boots, carrying a twenty-four-ounce coffee in one hand and a paper-wrapped hoagie in the other, pushed open the glass door to leave. Then he saw me. He stopped. He planted his boot against the bottom of the door. And he waited. Forty feet is a very long distance when a grown man is holding a door for you in the wind. In Japan, to make a stranger wait carries great shame. So I broke into that awkward half-jog every man performs when he wishes to show gratitude without looking like he is fleeing a crime. "Go ahead, boss," he said as I passed. Ten minutes later, as I walked out with my own sandwich, I saw an elderly woman locking her car thirty feet away. I planted my foot against the glass. I held the door. Another man behind me held the inner door. Within seconds we had formed an impromptu honor guard of grumpy men holding glass doors in complete silence. Philadelphia may boo Santa Claus. But inside the three-foot radius of a Wawa doorway, they have the manners of the imperial court.

My copilot for life. The entrepreneur’s journey often centers on the entrepreneur. The truth is, the people beside you make the same sacrifices, shoulder the same risks, and have to believe in the same vision. Thank you for allowing me to fly, Mari 💛

⚪️ New App: Slate — a voice journal built on one rule: nothing leaves your phone. 100% Apple, top to bottom. Transcription by SpeechAnalyzer on device. Reflection by the 3 billion parameter Apple Intelligence model on the Neural Engine. Storage in SwiftData. Swift 6, SwiftUI, Liquid Glass. Zero third-party code in the binary. There's no account. No analytics. No tracking. No third party SDKs. No network calls. The app is private because there is nothing to collect. Turn on airplane mode and everything still works. There's no server. You speak your mind and slate writes it down. It notices patterns and reads your week back to you in a summary every Sunday. The local model is an observer. It never replies or advises or comforts. When it has nothing real to say, it says nothing.

The strongest models are gated and access is granted only to a select few. Hermes Agent now exposes MoA presets as virtual models, giving you capabilities beyond the publicly available frontier: 8% higher than Opus 4.8 and 11% higher than GPT 5.5 on our upcoming benchmark.

If your WFH desk setup doesn't cost more than a used Honda Civic, you aren't serious about your pipeline. My ergonomic chair is built from the salvaged suspension of a 2019 Tesla Model S. My primary monitor is a converted IMAX screen I bought from a bankrupt theater in Oakland. When I drag a cell in Google Sheets, I physically have to rotate my entire torso. I burn 400 active calories a day just searching for the Slack icon. Stop complaining about back pain and optimize your environment.

If legislators always vote with the President, we have a king. If legislators always vote with the prevailing wind, we have mob rule. If legislators always vote with the Constitution, we have a Republic.

Massie: $5.5M raised. Average donor gave $100. His opposition: $32 million. Three billionaires, Secretary Hegseth on the ground, four presidential attacks in one day, all to silence the guy fighting for the Epstein files. Trump calls elections rigged. Look in the mirror. Go Massie.

It is time to make America the crypto capital of the world. It is time to pass the Clarity Act. It is time for America to lead. The future of digital assets belongs to us — if we choose to act.

Today, the Senate Banking Committee will vote to advance the CLARITY Act. I am proud of the countless hours that my team, Treasury, SEC, CFTC, and Senate Banking staff and members have put into shaping this product. On every issue, we put forward real solutions to address stakeholder concerns or Democrat demands. It often required us to get creative; sometimes, it required us to get uncomfortable. But we did it in the spirit of bipartisanship. Make no mistake: Whether today’s vote is partisan or bipartisan will depend entirely on politics, not policy. The CLARITY Act is not only good policy, it is necessary policy for the United States to maintain our leadership position in global financial markets. Not to mention the robust consumer protections and anti-illicit finance provisions it contains, without which, there are none. This morning’s vote will reveal whether Democrats have genuinely moved on from their war on crypto, or whether they remain cowed by Elizabeth Warren. The choice is theirs.
