You can smell and taste a delicious meal, but carbon monoxide (CO) is odourless, tasteless and deadly.
Misusing gas stoves can produce dangerous amounts of CO, so it’s important to have a CO alarm installed nearby and always use your stove in a well-ventilated space.

⚡Not all batteries are created equal.
Cheap, uncertified batteries and chargers can increase the risk of fire.

Need a new charger or cable? 🔌🔋
Just because a replacement fits doesn’t mean it’s made for your device.
Check the manufacturer’s instructions and use a recommended or original replacement. Off-brand charging cables can increase the risk of fire. 🔥

This #NationalSeniorsDay, help keep a senior family member in your life fire safe. ❤️
Take a few minutes to test the smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in their home and make sure they’re working properly.
Smoke and CO alarms don’t last forever. Replace alarms every 10 years, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and make sure working alarms are installed on every floor and outside sleeping areas.
A few minutes spent checking their alarms can help make sure someone you love has the warning they need in an emergency. 🏠🔥
