⭐OVER A MILLION CHILDREN answered The Big Future survey! ⭐ That is the biggest survey EVER done of children in England. Children have told me what they want for their future: now I will take a million of their voices to the Prime Minister and make sure they are heard.

My piece for @politicshome about the million children who’ve responded to my #TheBigFuture survey 🙌🙏👇🏻 📣
As I approach the end of my six-year term as Children's Commissioner, I worry Westminster simply doesn’t pay enough attention to young people
From dwindling work experience opportunities to the cost of living, it is tough being young at the moment – and politicians must get better at listening, writes @Rachel_deSouza politicshome.com/opinion/art…
I worry Westminster simply doesn’t pay enough attention to children.
Now I have over a million children's voices to take to number 10 off the back of my Big Future survey.

My mission has always been to ensure politicians listen to children's voices. That includes keeping children safe online and holding tech firms to account. Great speaking with Ian Murray, Minister for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport today.

Feeling safe in their local area and how children are policed are two of the biggest issues young people talk to me about.
Thank you to Minster for Policing and Crime, Sarah Jones for listening to young people's concerns in our meeting today @LabourSJ @ukhomeoffice

Families facing serious childhood illness should never have to make the impossible decision between caring for their child and trying to hold down a job.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 💥: Charities, medical bodies, businesses, unions, MPs, peers and over 18,000 parents unite to ask @andyburnham to deliver #HughsLaw this Parliament.
Frances and I take that call to @10DowningStreet today.
No parent should have to choose between their child’s bedside and their job.

The findings of my new report were stark. It shows the postcode lottery for children is very real – and not simply explained by poverty. I want to thank everyone for engaging and highlight some interesting points raised about the report in my blog👇🏼

I was pleased to contribute to the Bell review. School is where children should feel safest. But I was shocked by the abuse and antisemitism faced by Jewish children. The recommendations must lead to better protection for children and more support for teachers.
The journey home from the hospital after being born is the most important one a child will make.📍
