For years, Courtney was the one showing up when her community needed help as a deputy with the Avery County Sheriff's Office.
Now, Chive Charities is showing up for her.

At just four months old, Coen had surgery to correct sagittal craniosynostosis, a condition in which the bones of his skull had fused too early. During the operation, the protective lining around his brain was accidentally torn.

For years, Courtney showed up for her community as a sheriff's deputy. Now, she's showing up every day for her son, Coen. 💚
Between serious safety concerns, therapies, and sleepless nights, she needed someone in her corner, too.

In 2012, Chive Charities was born out of the idea that a lot of people giving a little can make a life-changing difference.
It is what fuels our work to this day as we close in on $24 million in grants with over 1700 lives changed and almost 800 stories shared.
At 10 years old, Leah is ready to explore the world. But living with Joubert syndrome means that something as simple as walking across the grass, stepping off a curb, or climbing onto a school bus can take extraordinary effort.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead
Thank you to all our sponsors, Hoots Pub, Bomb City Vodka, Big Jim’s Pizza Co. and all the folks who came and supported the event.
Leah has a LOT of places to be. 🩷 From Monster Jam to a 90-minute Hobby Lobby adventure, this 10-year-old isn't slowing down.

For years, Veterans, first responders and their loved ones would contribute patches to our wall.
Each one a reminder of the sacrifices made by those that serve and why we do what we do.

No one should have to rent their voice just to be heard.
Your donation can help close the gaps insurance leaves behind and turn a seemingly small grant into something profound.

Independence isn't always one big thing. Sometimes it's walking across the yard, driving your wife to the grocery store, fixing something around the house or simply stepping outside because you feel like it.
For Emilio, GBS/CIDP slowly took many of those everyday freedoms away.
We don't realize how many little things make up our independence… until we can't do them anymore.

We don't realize how many little things make up our independence… until we can't do them anymore.
For Emilio, GBS/CIDP changed walking, driving, yard work and other everyday moments.
Now, he has new tools to help make his world a little bigger again.

Army veteran Matt spent more than a decade fighting to speak after a massive stroke.
When insurance left him with an $850 balance for the communication device helping him rebuild his language, Chive Charities stepped in.
When 10 Percent Means Everything givebutter.com/TTPD2026
A communication device gave Army Veteran Matt a way to construct sentences and practice saying them himself.
Maybe you can’t fund an entire grant.
But when enough of us give 10% it becomes everything.
