We are deeply saddened by the passing of RJ Mitte, a friend and passionate advocate for disability rights and inclusion.
RJ was a valued part of the Community Options family, joining us as a keynote speaker at our annual conference in Washington, D.C., and attending Robert Stack’s Silent No Longer event in Texas. Through his advocacy, he helped bring greater awareness to the importance of equal opportunities, representation, and inclusion for people with disabilities.
RJ’s impact will not be forgotten. We are grateful to have shared these moments with him and will continue advancing the work he championed, building a world where everyone is valued, included, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Our thoughts are with RJ’s loved ones and all those whose lives he touched.

She then looked ahead at how AI will shape employment and opportunity for people with disabilities. Her talk gave our team a lot to think about as we work toward a future where everyone has the chance to build a meaningful career.
